Sängyt oli uusittu äskettäin ja niissä oli hyvä nukkua. Lisäksi asunto oli erittäin siisti. Joulukuun alussa alkoi jo olla melko viileitä öitä joten sähköpatteri piti asunnon lämpimänä.
