Best budget motel I've ever stayed in, an old-timey winner. Although the room was kind of small, it was very clean, with nice seating, bedding and carpeting, great lighting, a TV that actually works, a fridge, sparkling bathroom fixtures, convenient parking. Also, a mention about the vast lawn out front, with rustic wood carvings (a bear, eagles); and pretty much out of range of Route 6 traffic noise. The operator knows what people want. All this, and a short drive east to the classic shiny "Village Diner".
Located directly off Interstate 84, this Milford, Pennsylvania motel has complimentary Wi-Fi access and rooms with cable TV. High Point Cross Country Ski Center is 9 miles away.

The place was spotless and very well maintained. The owners were really nice. The bed was comfortable and there was an excellent diner next door. Will definitely be back.
Set within a picturesque scenery of Pocono Mountains, the Hampton Inn Matamoras offers an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. The Port Jervis Country Club is just a 10-minute drive away.

Devon at the front desk was so helpful to us, offering suggestions for dinner and helping us find a repair shop for our car trouble.
The room and bed were very comfortable. The food (limited days open) except free breakfast was every day. The staff was wonderful. The town was charming and lots of restaurant options. There is also a diner nearby for more affordable food that was very good. Hardly any traffic. Easy access to routes nearby.

A lovely, mid sized town in the Pocono Mts area. Perfect location for traveling around seeing sites. Nearby is Hawley, another small town which offers access to Lake Wallenpaupack, a large manmade lake/reservoir offering fishing, boating, swimming and a beach.
Very good restaurants in Milford, from Naked Bagel up the Hotel steak house!
There is more to see and do, so we'll likely go again soon!

I liked that each room is it's own private cottage.
I liked that each room is it's own private cottage. I have stayed in other motels where you can hear people talking in the next room . But that wasn't the case here, It's very private and quiet.

A small town with lots of historic villages and close to everything in the Delaware water gap. Located in the small business district and everything in town is in walking distance. There are just enough choices of restaurants.

Paid for booking of one queen bed on Booking.com (with confirmation). Got an email from them saying they didn't have a queen, but they could give me two double beds. Ok, no problem. On arrival, service desk refused to believe I already paid, lying and saying they just hold the room and you have to pay when you get there. Too tired to argue, I just paid again. Go into the room and its just one double bed (of course it is). Called (both Booking.com and the inn) after I got home and told them they charged twice, now I need to prove it. THEY KNOW THEY CHARGED TWICE! How could they not? Never again with this place, and never again with booking.com.

I grew up here. as with everything, things change. traffic is horrible. its always the "the city folks" behind ya in a rush. I love to drive slow and reminisce, look at the sights ans see the animals.. ah well, i still love milford and surrounding areas
Hotel and dining room were sparkling with Yucatan and southern Mexican colors and decor. Location is very quiet, but 100 yards from main street of Milford, which is a charming place. Across street was a tiny public park with great view of the Susquehanna River. Breakfast is provided at the nearby historic Hotel Fauchere, and it was good. Nothing extravagant, but the breakfast potatoes were delicious with a bit of chili. House made vanilla yoghurt in individual glass crocks was exceptional.
Motel in the middle of beautiful nowhere. AC on the old side, but still effective enough to cool down the room during a very hot summer. Very clean bathroom, comfy beds. We drove a couple of minutes down the road to the camping site of Milford to take an evening swim in the Delaware river, which was excellent fun. The best feature was located down the parking lot, the next door "Village Diner", an authentic 1950s diner straight out of a Hollywood film, with an excellent range of food on offer.
We really liked the bathroom amenities and coffee and tea provided in the rooms. The AppleTV in the room is a nice touch as well. The dinner was great and the breakfast was lovely. I especially liked the homemade yogurt and granola, but everything was good. The hotel is full of original Hudson River School paintings, something you won’t find in many hotels. It seems like the management and staff are really on top of everything and enjoy what they do. It’s a great place to stay.
Very old with some updates in room.
Room is very small only a full-size bed which is small for two adults.
Pillows were smaller than standard size.
Bathroom appears to be original harvest gold an avocado tub and tile, newer showerhead.
Two white plastic chairs Outside of your room. Chairs dirty and cheap.
Coffee available in the office only morning hours. Powdered milk only.
Motel had one soda vending machine no other vending machines available.
Easy to access, clean, fridge with surprisingly large freezer for a hotel room, microwave, friendly check-in person Meena, they called while we were en route to confirm that we were still coming (which reassured me they didn’t overbook and wouldn’t give our room away!), comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, little picnic table out front where we could enjoy our dinner, pretty quiet considering it was right across the road from a freeway.
My wife was looking up hotels because we would be traveling to the area and found Scottish Inns.we booked at Milford, N.Y. On our Trip we actually passed one of your locations in the Baltimore, Maryland area so we kinda had a idea on what to expect of at least the overall look of the hotel in Milford . Rooms was better then expected and the rate was better then expected, very reasonable , I would rate this Scottish Inn with 4 1/2 stars.
The location was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming. After we checked in, we took a walk around Milford, which is a lovely town. We had a wonderful, relaxed dinner in the hotel at Bar Louis. Our room, although small, was comfortable. The Bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The included breakfast was a buffet, but perfectly prepared, with a variety of delicious offerings.
There was nothing about it I liked. On line said pet friendly. When we arrived I was told NO pets. But would let us stay for more money. Not good service. Plus the office area smelled like the Chinese restaurant that’s attached. Dirty order. Was glad to leave. We started at Best Western down the street.
I don’t eat breakfast but I had coffee provided by Scottish Inn. Very quiet and relaxing and peaceful. And It was within my budget. Also enjoyed a very nice meal next door to the Motel there was a very clean restaurant. With delicious meals and great survice.
Nothing, it's not a hotel but motel, this place has to be demolished and rebuild to a something decent, its 21 century and america is stuck in 50s, Milford is really nice place to vusit but because there is no decent place to stay is big ge changer
We loved the peaceful setting, especially the babbling brook and outdoor firepit area. The couch and bed were super comfy with lots of plush blankets and pillow; the decor overall was impeccable too. Brian, the host, was very kind and responsive.
The location is close to walking trails and a nice viewpoint over the river. The Appartment is spacious with enough seating for a family of 5. Very nice welcome from Sue at Hotel Fauchere.
