Everything that I needed or asked for was responded to in a timely and helpful manner. There was a staff member named Jasmine who exceeded any and all expectations. It was a challenging period of time for me and she could not have been kinder and more supportive. All of the staff were excellent, but she gets an A+ for being available and helping me with my reservation.

FAQs about hotels in Brooklyn

The Giant of New York

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!

The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.

On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.

At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.

Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.

Brooklyn is my home town, so im very familiar with how to get around. This hotel happen to be walking distance to one of my favorite bargin stores of all time. This hotel has a bus stop right in front of it that take you express into the city. During my stay i would walk the few block to the train station and once i was done with my day in the city i would take the express bus straight to the hotel, what a luxury. I always enjoy my time in New York !

Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth.

Brooklyn is one of the most diverse places on Earth. Old, new, rich, not-so-rich. Every cuisine and kind of neighborhood. Prospect Park is in great shape and safe. The new(ish) waterfront parks by the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Heights are in super condition and have great view of lower Manhattan. Walking the bridge is a really highlight. So much more reasonable than staying in Manhattan too, and just a really short subway ride to all the best lower Manhattan attractions and neighborhoods. People have a lot of crazy ideas that big cities are bad and broken in the USA. It’s just not true in Brooklyn. It’s a great place that’s better than it was 20-30 years ago.

Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline,...

Amazing view of the bridge and the Manhattan skyline, especially when timing with the sunset. Plenty of places to eat. We had a 10 minute walk from our hotel in Dyker Heights to the nearest subway and there were loads of shops, eating places and cafes - including the likes of Victoria's Secrets and Saphora, so I expect the area to be growing and becoming more popular.

First thing first, I love any hotel that provides free breakfast, so that was a plus! The hotel itself was nice and in a convenient location in downtown Brooklyn. The staff was nice and very accommodating. There was a hiccup in our first room when he checked our closet someone's undergarment was left behind. When we call the front desk they did not hesitate to get us a new room. The room had a nice spacious king bed which was super comfy. Overall my stay was short but still a comfortable stay and I would return again.

Moxy Williamsburg is our go-to whenever we are visiting NYC. The staff is so accommodating, fun, and helpful. Shawn, the manager & Lewis are especially incredible, but the whole staff is exceptional. Amy is truly a rock star! They made our birthday week the best we ever had. The rooms are very comfortable with incredible views. And, the facilities are among the best in Williamsburg. We are huge Moxy hotel chain fans!

Spacious room, well appointed and furnished. Handy kitchenette with a microwave just enough cookware to make a stovetop meal. Comfortable and good location for Brooklyn and close enough to the subway to be in Manhattan quicky (Greenpoint station 4 or 5 blocks away. Can get from the hotel to Times Square in about 30 minutes). Laundry on site, works well and not too expensive ($2 each for washer & dryer).

The hotel is very nicely maintained, and they serve an exceptional buffet breakfast. The Red Hook Lodge is located very close to MSC Brooklyn Cruise Port and Station Island Ferry, and Lobster Pound Eatery, for excellent lobster rolls, and shell food. My recommdations to management is to add coffee, tea, service 24/7. Like Hampton Inn. Your customers will greatly appreciate the added coffee tea service.

I was introduced to the Wythe by way of its spectacular rooftop bar (a must-see for the incredible views of Manhattan). When I found myself with an extra night in Brooklyn, it was an obvious choice. The hotel is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the location is ideal for exploring.
