Decent accommodation for staying for one day, clean, simple, staff friendly. Breakfast in the morning was continental, you can choose from three egg dishes, was enough. The problem was thin walls, so noise travels easily. We traveled in winter, so not many guest, my guess is that in summer time must be noisy.

The room was simple but had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were very good, and the servers were very nice and accomodating. We had a really good experience. In particular, we loved the breakfast. We also paid 15 euros for the underground parking, which was good, as we had a lot of luggage with us and we wanted it safe. The garage is locked overnight, which was great.

The room was just as in the pictures. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom too. The parking spot is good, you can use a private key to access the parking lot during the night. It might be far away from the city center but in our case it was not a problem.

The staff was very helpful and always very polite (except the guy at the front desk at the time at my arrival) I had a little issue with the bamboo blind and he didn’t go out of his way to help me. I ended up having to deal with the problem/resolved on my own.

Figueres is a slightly shabby town though perfectly friendly and people mostly come here for the Dali museum. Were stayed for a couple of days rest at the end of our long GR11 hike - its much cheaper than Barcelona! tbh though there isn't a lot to do here.

Very nice little town!!
Very nice little town!! People are nice , the restaurants are affordable, they had a really nice food market on Thursday morning! It was perfect!
Its a little town though so 3-4 days is long enough ;)
Be sure to visit the Dali Museum, it’s just unfortunate that the paintings are not better explained. An audio guide would have been appreciated.
The best churros were right around the corner from Duran Hotel!!!

I didn't come for the Dali Museum and didn't go to it.
I didn't come for the Dali Museum and didn't go to it. But Figueres is a pleasant and friendly town and I enjoyed exploring it. It is also a good base for visiting and walking in the surrounding countryside. I had a couple of excellent longish walks in the Serra de Rodes (on two of the megalithic trails) and there is clearly much more to explore.

Trip to the Salvadore Dali museum was excellent,
Food in some cafes inexpensive even in the main Ramblas area.
Visited the St Ferran castillo (N11A north of Figueres). English tours ob specific days of the week. In my opinion not suitable if walking is restricted. There is a 20 min overview in several languages inside. 5€ for standard enttrance. Guided tour 16 euros.

It’s better to go when it’s less crowded, around 12 it’s full of people so better to go earlier in the morning. It takes about 3 hours to observe everything.
If you plan on having a english speaking guide plan way ahead.

I was just passing through to the Pyrenees and it is a good destination to get to from Barcelona by train if you are planning to cycle the Pyranees as I did. The real only attraction in the town is Dali's museum which I never visited. The train from Barcelona is fast and stops only 3 times before reaching Figueres. It does seem as if it is used by a large number of comuters that live in Girona and travel the hour into the city every day so best times to travel areout of peak hours.
Great place, it is exactly how it looks in the photos!
I was here with my wife and 3 kids, everything was spotless clean, spacious, and comfortable. Marta was always super responsive and helpful.
Very easy to reach in the very center of Figueres, good size elevator (for the stroller and luggage).
Walkable with lots of things to do and see nearby.
I absolutely recommend it.
Excellent location, staff and facilities. Our train journey ended at Portbou due to a forest fire in the area and Figueres was the nearest place to stay overnight. Duran hotel accommodated us at short notice; room was beautiful, very comfortable and excellent value. As we left early the next morning, we didn’t have time for breakfast.
Balcony was nice surprise. Room was really big, Hotel is bit older - mean the style is like the luxury old hotel- I was expecting ghosts -like in shining...nothing happened ...ha ha ha ha ha...
But make no mistake all is modernized and the today standards are met and with bonus "the space" :)
Spacious room, big cozy bed and hotel is pet friendly. We paid extra for breakfast and it was nice. There is restaurant in hotel but unfortunately we didn't try the food as we were tired. Staff is very friendly.
Very clean and comfortable. Lovely bar area with nice comfy seating areas. The restaurant food and service are very good. Good place to stop on way down to southern Spain not far from the toll road.
It’s a good halfway point between our holiday home and France where our family live.
Great to be able to walk our dog from the hotel.

Friendly welcome. Complimentary hot drinks. Very comfortable. Parking could be an issue if you're not at the hotel relatively early. I really rate B&B hotels. This is the best I've been to.
Hotel a few minutes from center of town. Bed large and comfortable. Good shower. Good sized desk. Good wifi in room. Hotel parking available across the street.
Very nice hotel with parking, in a good location, short walk to the downtown area with shops and restaurants. The bar was nicely stocked and the food was good.
