Hostal Casa Verde, hotel in Santa Ana

Offering an outdoor pool and free bicycle rentals, Hostal Casa Verde is located in Santa Ana. Free WiFi access is available throughout. Shared and private rooms are available at Hostal Casa Verde.

The host Carlos and the staff provide one of the best experience that I had encounter in El Salvador, and the most satisfaction in comparison to other countries in the region. The ambient and the vibe of Casa Verde are like home away from home. Breakfast was abundant, and made of fresh ingredients, and fruits were available daily. The small bar serve outstanding drinks at reasonable prices. Each one of the staff was humble, willing to assist, and help in any possible. Internet was reliable and fast.

Pool House Hostel, hotel in Santa Ana

Located in Santa Ana, Pool House Hostel has a garden, shared lounge, BBQ area, and free WiFi throughout the property. The property has a shared kitchen, a tour desk and luggage storage for guests.

The staff are really nice. The hostel is next to the city center with the cathedral, bars, resturants and grocery stores. There is a good kitchen for cooking and it's a decently social hostel with people lounging around the main area. They have an arepa making class Mondays or tuesday nights? Good way to meet people. I got the private room and it was very spacious. Quiet at night and very safe. I would recommend staying here if you can .

You see a lot of crap online of wether or not Santa Ana is safeS we had zero problems and never felt unsafe at all. Santa Ana and El Salvador in general have made huge inprovements in safety these last years. The town is nice , you'll strugle to find a building with more than 2 stories. It has preserved it's old world charm. Not supermany things to do or see but a good base to go exploring from

The road especially the side streets are horrible.

The road especially the side streets are horrible. Needs a traffic officer in all the main road that are under construction even at night. I closed my eyes hoping that my husband won’t hit a vehicle as he drove on tight traffic areas. I’m worried that our rental car won’t break down on the unpaved roads- lots of rocks and open pits. The Santa Ana people are very helpful and kind.

I really liked the Santa Ana Cathedral.

I really liked the Santa Ana Cathedral. As an amateur photographer, I also liked the colorful and dilapidated buildings around the cathedral. They made a great backdrop for street photography. Unfortunately, I spent only a day here so I was not able to see or do many things in the area. It is a great location to jump off the Ruta de las Flores though. I’m definitely happy that I decided to start the route here and not from San Salvador.

Santa Ana is a medium sized city tucked in the mountains.

Santa Ana is a medium sized city tucked in the mountains. The market is fun to explore and cathedral and theatre are gorgeous. Outside of town there are ruins, volcanoes, and a lake within an hour. The town doesn't have much tourism which gives it a more authentic feel, but also means you won't find many good restaurants around the square or at night.

It is a 2-floor house with 3 bedrooms and amazing shared facilities such as a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, and free (!) laundry and drying machine. The owner is super friendly, responsive, and helpful. We talked a lot, not only about El Salvador, but he also gave us nice tips about the city. Also, he speaks fluent Spanish and English! The place was very comfortable and would be a great base for a longer stay in the region. It is located in a very calm and peaceful neighborhood, just like the whole of Santa Ana.

Best staff, will help you do all the touristic activities in Santa Ana, will help you with transport to move to other cities, will give you personal care. We were helped find food late at night with the owner personally coming out with us at night. We managed to eat the best pupusas. Pre-arrival communication to do touristic activities was on spot. Simply this is an amazing hotel, located close to the cathedral, theater and the very center of the city. You have to visit it to believe what I have written.

I absolutely loved my stay at this property. The staff, Victor and Diego, were exceptional. From the moment we landed to the end of our stay, the staff was attentive and proactive to making sure we were cared for. The views are stunning and the aesthetics of the property/ hotel room is very chic. I would stay here in again and every time, especially at the affordable price point. There also TV with great channels, hot water in shower, comfy beds, and great food!

This was the friendliest, coziest hostel we stayed at on our entire trip. The kitchen was great to have and there's a lot of little areas to relax in. Adriana helped us every step of the way with planning our trips from Santa Ana. She made the hostel feel like a second home.
