Newly renovated and well outfitted. Make your own breakfast was provided which is a unique and valued touch with cereal, milk and toast with Jam etc. Really nice stay albeit a little pricey for the area it was worth while.

The Beach Motel Hervey Bay is located in tropical gardens directly across from Shelly Beach. The motel offers simple, value accommodations and is a great starting point for Fraser Island.

Great location. Clean rooms. Lots of useful things (dishwashing liquid etc) - enough for the entire stay not just one use like lots of places do. Thank you for that!!! Lovely new bathroom.

The most appealing point about the Mantra is the location, the view is spectacular.

We got a free upgrade to ocean view. Lovely view.
The pool was awesome for our daughter - and heated. Room was huge and very comfortable - nice restaurants and cafes in easy walking distance. Don't miss the markets!! Perfect mix of trash, treasure and food And recommend the Donuts!

A lovely flat place, where you can walk or bike ride till your heart is content. We are in our 70's and we bike ride all around doing up to 20k's in a day. Stopping for breakfast or lunch or just at the beach. It has great shopping centres with every shop you need. So many places to eat, all sorts. We enjoy the RSL for an evenings entertainment and a good meal. We use our bikes or car. I cant comment on the public transport. There is always buses on the road though.

A perfect, unspoiled beach location.
A perfect, unspoiled beach location. The beach is safe and perfect for swimming, with sandbars and fishing. There’s a lovely old pier for strolling on.
Nice cafes that are affordable. The people are friendly and relaxed. Great fish and chip shops dotted about, excellent fresh fish.
The Bayswater Bar near the Pier has happy hour cocktails 3-5pm and really good $10 pizzas weekdays 2-4.30pm. It’s the best place to spend an afternoon overlooking the water.
The waterfront has an endless promenade, with picnic facilities dotted along it. Great off leash areas for dogs. Don’t forget to greet the locals as you pass by.

The whole Great Sandy Strait is utterly superb.
The whole Great Sandy Strait is utterly superb. Great restaurants everywhere along the Esplanade. Need to plant lunch well, as disappoint most cafes close by 1.3opm to 2pm...so hard to get a late lunch.

Nice for a short holiday.
Nice for a short holiday. Whale watching is excellent and so is a trip to K'gari. A stroll along the long pier is worth the effort. Beautiful views. The weather is lovely in Autumn but a bit humid in Summer. It is easy to drive around Hervey Bay even when there are a lot of tourist. There are a lot of choices when looking for a place to eat.

We stayed in Hervey Bay for two weeks this time for the first time. Unfortunately we could only get a week in each of two places. We have made the trip to Hervey Bay many times and stayed in different types of accommodations from Motels, a house and now resorts. Have driven from one end to the other many times and I love it all. I Have loved staying at the Mantra the best as it has a lot of conveniences in walking distance and the shopping center is not far, by car, if you want to dine in your unit. We did drive to the other end to the RSL for the special deal meal nights. The staff have been wonderful in all places we have visited.
The room was large and had all the basic requirements for a backpackers. There is a communal lounge and kitchen and a basic breakfast and coffee / tea is available. Unfortunately the TV did not work and the aircon only comes on between 18:00 and 05:00 and was not very cold. My room was not ready on check in. In spite of that the staff ate friendly and the location is good. As far as a backpackers is concerned it is budget accommodation and not a hotel.
What was there NOT to like! Sarah has gone over and above on details in this tiny house! My husband and I agreed it was so well supplied and well thought out. Almost everything you need, Sarah has thought of! Little Sunshine was a ray of sunlight in a quiet country side setting and only about a 15 min drive to the Hervey Bay esplanade with its beautiful beaches. We would highly recommend Little Sunshine tiny home.
We liked that we were close to the Urangan pier for a lovely afternoon walk when we arrived. Also a complimentary drink at the Bayswater Hotel while our apartment was still getting ready. Also it was a very convenient location to drive to River Heads for our barge to Kingfisher Bay. We would definitely recommend friends and family to stay here. Lovely view of the pool area and it was very clean and confortable.
The friendliness and help from staff! We were ‘stuck’ in Hervey Bay after our trip to Fraser Island waiting for roads to be safe enough to travel back home after floods. This meant we were quite unsure of our dates of stay. Staff were so kind and accomodating to ensure all was ok and that our family would have a safe and comfortable place to stay!
Great hotel with smiling friendly staff. We stayed two nights in a family room, which are very spacious and clean. The kids loved swimming in the heated pool.
Adjacent to the hotel Salt cafe is a great breakfast and lunch cafe. In the hotel there’s a nice bistro for evening dinner with live music in the weekends.
545 Esplanade cottages are in a great location straight across from the beach, with access to the walking tracks along the beautiful Hervey Bay foreshore. The cottages are well equipped with everything you could possibly want, thanks to a host who has an eye for detail and obviously cares about her clientele.
The room was lovely and clean, great view from the patio. The pool was fantastic, very central location and easy to find. Couldn't complain about anything and will be coming back here to stay next time we come to Hervey Bay!
I have stayed at the Hervey Bay Hotel once before and came again as it is such a welcoming and comfortable ace to stay. The staff are lovley and helpful and is in an amazeing location. I'd definitly stay here again.
Newly renovated unit, unbeatable views, excellent location, incredible clean resort, friendly staff!!! This is my second stay at Mantra Hervey Bay, and it keeps getting better !!
Excellent location opposite the esplanade. Cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. Rooms clean and bed very comfortable. Good secure parking available.
Spacious, comfortable modern apartments with great hotel facilities and a great pool! Close to a patrolled calm beach and on a quiet part of the esplanade.
