The Berks Jazzfest in its 32 year is a treasure.

The Berks Jazzfest in its 32 year is a treasure. West Reading has many fine restaurants & Brew Pubs. What U should avoid is trying to stay at the Inn at Reading. My brother & his wife left after 10 minutes. It stunk & had stained sheets. They are world travelers. I think Booking . Com should rescind my money for the simple fact that they do business with the Inn at Reading

a hidden gem, close to philly but far enough away to enjoy todays acts, concert, hockey games, oh yeah, the stadium is very far away-i had to cross the street-perfect location, from rock, soul, pop, hip-hop etc. the rooms are a gitchy vintage modern and IMMACULATE. everyone made me feel special, several times staff would not even take a tip, imagine that and your there, by the way the room service was enough to feed a family of 4-joke, but large portions

We came to do some Christmas shopping and visit Koziar's Christmas Village. MARVELOUS! worth the visit and the cost was reasonable. The motel was not far from the places we wanted to go. As it was late, we ordered pizza in. The worst part of this facility is that it is a distance from the downtown area for restaurants. It is convenient to the airport. We did NOT hear the airplanes. Reading is reasonably easy to navigate. We didn't get to all the places I wanted because of time and I was traveling with a youngster this visit.

I come here for the professionalism and expertise of the doctors at Reading Hospital. The procedures are not done locally so travel 2.5 hours to Reading often. Reading is a beautiful city. I always stay at the Candlewick Hotel and go next door to Brewers for supper. It's a win win with both. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to shop. Hopefully one day soon.

    Very disappointed.

Very disappointed. I didn't sleep all night cause although the bed was soft the nasty blankets and pillows were the worst. Advertised breakfast but there was nothing, not even coffee or tea. The ice machines were broken. The lock on our door wouldn't lock, when I told the front desk I was told I don't know what to do for you and there are no extra rooms. Eventually she called her boss, and he called a guy. I had to stay in the room until they brough in a maintenance person. It took about an hour, and he fixed it.

This hotel was clean and crisp, with a simple modern style that made it a pleasure to stay at. The layout of the room, to the beautifully breakfast layout was just perfect. The patty sausage on biscuit with gravy was delicious, and hot fresh coffee made this overnight a great value. Staff were pleasant and responsive. No complaints on this one.

Desk staff was efficient & friendly. Room met my expectations of cleanliness. In-room coffee was better than most. All appliances that I used worked well. Bed was firmer than most which I appreciated. Location was great as I attemded the WWII Weekend at the Mid Atlantic Air Museum. Only took 7-8 minutes too get there from the hotel.

We were in town for the Jazz Fest, and this hotel was close to everything... The room was very clean and modern... And every member of the staff that we came in contact with was wonderful from the second we walked through the doors to the minute we turned our keys in to depart... I look forward to returning for next year's Jazz Fest...

I thought that the facilities were very clean. The heater worked fine as it was a cool night. Clean and spacious shower with plenty of hot water. Despite the inn being very busy, it was very quiet. The continental breakfast was small (muffin, coffee, etc) it was good and adequate. I do recommend this hotel. Can't beat the price.

This is a no frills hotel but it was fine for a 2 day stay. Close to restaurants and easy access to highways. Room could have been a little cleaner and house keeping to be more thorough because one of the pillows was dirty. Other than that it was fine. Bed was comfortable.
