The road work that was underway on the way into the city was causing delays in traffic, as matter of fact it came to a standstill which was annoying but understandable.

East Syracuse was a nice place.
East Syracuse was a nice place. It was cold but it was fine. The changing of the leaves was visible and they were beautiful. There are different things to do this time of the season. It was time for apple picking and pumpkins everywhere you went. I was able to get fresh corn to bring back to the city, I love going this time, it is a good way to relieve the stress from the city.

The elevator did not work & when I asked when it would be fixed, the attendant told me it would take about two years! They said that the company was awaiting parts!
Two years? C’mon!
The carpet was worn out, there was mold in the shower along the grout lines at base of the walls that meet the tub!

Motel 6 was nasty. Customer service was horrible.
Motel 6 was nasty. Customer service was horrible. Had issues right from time we checked in. No toilet paper in the room, no bed spread on the bed. Fridge didn't work, and then found couckroaches. There is no manager on site and when you ask to speak with one the help doesn't want to get the manager on the phone. If I had the extra money I would had left and went to a different place.
nothing! It was filthy. it smelled like cigarettes and urine. there was section 8 housing throughout the hotel. these people left tons of trash outside there rooms. they kept their doors open and talked across the hall to eachother. their children ran up and down the halls being loud. my bathroom sink leaked. there was no screen in the window so I could not get fresh air. there were 2 giant disgusting stains on the couch in my room. there were cleaning and repair items stored in the hallway. the hotel said breakfast was included. it was not.
Breakfast was great, loved the options of the hot food and drinks.
The pool was very nice, we had fun swimming.
The outdoor patio area was really nice too, plenty of seating. Our room was very comfortable, and clean, we liked that there were plenty of lamps for softer lighting in the evening.
The shade on the window was great at blocking light and providing privacy.
We also liked that it was quiet. We didn't hear noise from other hotel rooms.
The man at the front desk was so nice and personable! I should have gotten his name so I could let Hampton Inn know that he is a great front desk person. The breakfast, both days we were there, was okay, typical hotel buffet. The coffee was EXCELLENT. And, they had International Delight Creamer. The beds were comfy. I had a king size bed and the mattress was better than my mattress at home. My son said the sofa bed was very comfortable.
The only thing thats good about that damned hotel room is the fact that its 4 walls and a roof, the “handicap accessible room” is anything but, a tiny small bar in the shower on the opposite end forces you to either wash yourself in the water or stand awkwardly like a naked 4yo in a waterpark. The keycards don’t work for the doors, the SUPERVISORS keycards wouldnt open the hotel door.
The hotel was a little surprise. It was clean, quaint and easily accessible by car. The treats on arrival at reception were a hit with the kids. Absolutely loved that there was ample free parking. A rare find in the US. There is Chuck E Cheese just before the hotel driveway, which would be convenient for long stays with kids.
Awesome breakfast selections! The room was clean and spacious for the four of us. We loved the kitchenette area which was an added touch to the hotel. The complementary coffee was wonder. All the staff were friendly. We have booked this hotel several times in the past and we’ll book again in the future.
Basically every bit! Part of the reason we picked this hotel was for the pool for our kids. When we got there, the pool was closed for repair. Once they saw the disappointment on our kids faces, they were SO quick to offer a solution. This hotel went above and beyond.
A new hotel and although a little out of the way it’s exceptionally quiet so worth being off the highway if you don’t like to hear traffic all night. A few great restaurants close by made it an all around great stop over for our trip back home from the South
There was fresh made coffee
Very nice staff
For the price a good value
You get decent rooms.
You shouldn’t expect a nice hotel room that’s completely clean. It’s still a motel for 50$ so for that price it’s good.
Embassy Suites is always my go to hotel since the facilities and staff are always professional and up to standard! Breakfast is always up perfect since it prepared the way we want it.
