Nice hotel manager! We were only there for about 15 minutes before asking for a refund. She was helpful and understanding fortunately. I’ve never had an experience like this at a hotel and she made it quick and easy for us to get back on the road and look for somewhere else to stay. Very satisfied with how she handled the situation.

I'm sorry to say that the hotel was a big disappointment.

I'm sorry to say that the hotel was a big disappointment. Once you got there and up close and got in the room it was a joke for the money they charge.$145. Plus tax for a room that was only worth $50.00 tax included. Tried to show pics but it wouldn't take them. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and that one should have been shut down. Fire hazard!! No i won't recommend milton hotel to anyone. Very disappointed in booking.com for sending us there. A total waist if money..

Milton is a small town that has lots of shopping and plenty of restauants. Several great parks with boat ramps on the river. The only swing open bridge on the river for boaters that I have ever seen. Its rural yet only about half an hour to the beach. We love the old downtown and the small river walk on the river. Traffic is not bad at all. IT says its the canoeing capital of the world... plenty of water and places to launch a canoe... and boats also. Very pretty area.

    I live in Milton.

I live in Milton. My brother-in-law and his wife were coming to do work for us so we rented the room for 2 days. After having to move twice at the hotel. Then I got $45 added onto my Visa card because the not so bright lady that waited on me wanted to say that my brother-in-law and his wife's told clothes hangers and towels from the first room that they were put in that hadn't been cleaned. Yeah it was just bad experience from the get-go. $267 later unbelievable. The money I wasted at your facility. Never again!

It`s a nice little town, with everything you need just inside of your palm. People are very friendly and the town itself is beautiful. If you like nice and quiet, Milton is just to place to come to. I also loved Texas Roadhouse. You should really stop by it if you can because there is nothing like it anywhere else.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for two nights while visiting relatives in the area. We took advantage of the kayak provided to go kayaking along the Black River. We hiked in the area, and rented inner tubes to go floating down the scenic river. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

The host was wonderful to say the least and we truly enjoyed our stay on Trout Bayou. When we come back to the area in January we plan to book the same property. Thank you so very much for making our stay one we will not forget. Sincerely David A. Krause
