The Landlady was super nice to us, helping us with all our requests. Its a very old house, restaurated in a very carful fashion, with a matching mix of old style and new facilities.

Breakfast was plentiful, with many breads and pastries, cheeses and sliced meats (like Italian lunchmeat/prosciutto). They also made fresh scrambled eggs every morning. Someone would come and take your coffee order and bring it to your table. They also offer dinner most nights but you have to schedule it with them. We didn't know about this and ate in town for dinner and there were VERY few places available--we ate at the same place twice. (But it was amazing and I recommend it--Ristorante Alla Fenice). At least that was the case in early October when we were there... post summer season. Beds were comfy and bathroom was spotless. The VIEW from the balconies off the rooms was gorgeous, looking over the town and the lake at the bottom and the mountains surrounding. There is a very easy walk around the lake and over the dam and back through the town which was beautiful. The town feels like a fairy land. Couldn't have been more pleased. We did the Tre Cime hike about 40 minutes away (and the most spectacular drive to get there!) and it was one of the most stunning hikes I have ever taken. The gal at the front desk of the hotel was very knowledgeable on the hikes and can help with planning. There is also a visitor's center in town and you can ask them questions and get maps.
This place is super clean and cozy and the host is incredible. Highly recommend this location and I really hope I can come out again and if I do I will stay more than just one night. Great feeling to be in the village among the residents vs just some hotel in a hotel area. The view from the room was awesome too! I cannot say enough about the incredible host and the cleanliness of the place. The breakfast she made for us was awesome! Well done.

I liked the flair of the hotel. It gives me the feeling of home. The atmosphere of the hotel is solid and framed by its wooden appliances.
The owner is really friendly. The room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Although the hotel isn't near any cities, the location is great. You can enjoy the idyllic view of the valley and dolomites.
