The location was amazing, right next to the sea. We arrived by kayak so this was essential.

Beautiful location and property. Wonderful staff!!! It was a great starting place for our vacation to Croatia. A really nice breakfast and coffee service every morning on the property, the Heritage restaurant was also amazing.

Great staff, ready to assist with anything they can. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and roomy, although we were told that we received an upgrade. I wouldn’t even want to think what the original room looked like. Had a few free parking spaces that were available to guests. The balcony was fairly large although the view was not the best due to lots of construction going on around the property and some poorly maintained large “flower beds” in direct view from the balcony. Walking distance to beach was also a positive.
Offering a balcony in each unit, Hotel Medena - Low Cost is located only a few steps from a pebbly beach in Donji Seget. It provides modest accommodations with a restaurant on site.

The island is very quiet, not a lot of turists, but that is what we like. The sea is amazing! The locals are welcoming and warm.
There is only one bakery and a small shop, but it has almost everything you will need if tou are not picky.
There are two small restaurants, but are quite pricey.
Almost every morning, a fisherman comes in to the bay on his small boat, and he sells really fresh fish, fruits and veggies, homemade local liqour and olive oil.

A small wooded island with a nice beach and nice people.
A small wooded island with a nice beach and nice people. The harbor is small, the 1 shop, 1 bakery and 1 restaurant are enough for the small number of tourists and locals. On the other side of the island is the blue lagoon, there is also another restaurant and bar.

We stayed at a quiet end of the village, the house was just 20m from seaside with small private pier by the sea. We had magnificent view from shaded terrace ovelooking the bay (1st floor) so if there was no mood walking around, sitting on the terrace and watching the life on the sea was great. Drvenik Veliki is just a small fishermen village wirth 1 grocery, 1 baker, 1 restaurant and few pubs, with 2-3 ferries per day reaching either Trogir od Drvenik Mali. There is also a rental of cayaks, paddleboards and boats there. The water is usually supplied by water-tanker so make sure you supply yourself with enough drinking water. The size of the island is such that you can reach other sides even by foot but you should be careful to use main roads/dirt tracks otherwise you end up in a maze of rock walls and impenetrable bush. There are just few inlets around the island with small pebble beaches. If you are after unspoiled nature the popular Blue lagoon is not wort trying - full of noise, debris and people. But overall we had great peaceful time there.

A slightly remote island. Not too busy. Perfect sea.
A slightly remote island. Not too busy. Perfect sea. Rocky beaches - much preferred. Mostly uneven dirt roads - fits the style of this place and was OK with us. Would not recommend it for people who want to pay for some silly tourist attractions or do some shopping on their holiday.

Drvenik is a beautiful island with a lot of great bays, stunning blue see and a lot of peaceful places!
It has only two restaurants and on little market but I love places like that so for us it was great vacation.
Drvenik Veli is a peaceful, beautiful, calm island and the water is so clear! We even saw a starfish. There is a small supermarket (offers only basics but you will find everything you need for everday‘s life), a bakery and a bar/café/restaurant on the island. Lucija is a great and helpful host that feels like a friend. The apartment has everything you need. The view from the balcony is awesome and the sea is just a few steps away. The atmosphere on the island is fantastic. Thank you Lucija, we miss Drvenik Veli!
The island is beautiful, the town charming, the sea perfect. Solinska beach is perfect light blue place for snorkeling. The sisters who take care of the accommodation are very nice and helpful. Excellent communication, thank you. Very good connection of the island with the mainland and the island of Mali Drvenik. The apartments are nice, very clean. There is a extremely beautiful view from the terrace.
If you want to expirience dalmatian culture this is the best place to be in Veli Drvenik. It is right beside the blue lagoon wich is a turist spot. But if you have a SUP you can go to the small island and find your peace. If you dont mind the heat and the shower door being a little broken the this is the place to be. Everybody made us feel at home. 9/10 would come again.
The area is beautiful, it is ideal for those who love the sea and want peace. (Although the cicadas are a bit loud...:)
The place does not offer the comfort of a hotel, but here you are almost alone, there is no hustle and bustle. It is ideal for those who prefer this and not hotel service.
Recommended only with children who can swim well
Great accommodation, Janko the owner is very kind and helpful. The coast is calm, if you want to relax on the beach, go here. The hotel's garden is also great, you can have a barbecue here. For grilling, you can buy fresh fish in the morning from the local "boat" shop.
An amazing place to stay on Drvenik Veli island! The host was very kind and helped us with everything we needed, and provided us with all the information for the island. The rooms were clean and the kitchen had all the necessary things.
