Great hotel really, a gem in Paracas. They actually upgraded us for free, which was a very pleasant surprise.
Service was phenomenal, staff were quick to respond and super friendly and helpful. Most were bilingual as well. Drinks from the restaurant made it to our room in about 5 minutes every time, they ordered our taxis, and always helped with luggage and opening the doors.
Amazing pools, one is heated. The other pool is spacious but could use a deep end. The restaurant is amazing, food, desserts, and drinks were delicious and the waiters were attentive and friendly.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed the massages at their spa so much the first time, we ended up scheduling some the following day.
The spa in the suite was really nice as well, only recommendation would be slanting both side of the spa so a couple can really enjoy it together.
Museum was also a lot nicer than we expected, history from all parts of Peru are there.
Game area was a nice little area, ping pong, foosball, darts, and pool. They also have indoor rock climbing there (mostly for kids but adults can do it too). There is even a trampoline outside, my girlfriend and I are adults but still took a turn on that.

I really liked Paracas. It's a small beach resort with plenty bars, restaurants and shops.
There appears to be only two ATM's and the one in the main section near the beach will charge you 25 soles a pop so bear that in mind.
It's great for visiting the National Reserve Park - you'd need to either hire a buggy/scooter or go with a tour in my opinion. It's big and it's beautiful. It closes at 4pm so you wouldn't want to leave it too late.
You can also visit Las Islas Ballestas - mini Galapagos in Peru. It's gorgeous and I'm not a bird lover. The boat trip alone is a winner for me
You can also go kayaking and there are two small water parks/water based activities along the beach too.
It's hot so don't forget the sunscreen. I was just there and it's April which is their Autumn.
I spent about 4 nights there and I really enjoyed just walking the beach and relaxing.

Paracas was not the best stop on my Peru trip.
Paracas was not the best stop on my Peru trip. First of all, lots of visitors got heavy stomach problems once in Paracas (it is probably the water). The best part is to visit the natural Reserva. The Islas Ballestas islands is not the best...I mean the boats are going there constantly full of tourists...I do not think it is the best for the animals that live there..We were told that due to climate change they are also not reproducing anymore so soon no Humboldt penguins or pelicanos will be there. The bets would be close this area from tourists...

Paracas has some really beautiful sights. Ballestas islands are a must see and the national park is beautiful!
Paracas Beach is crowded and not very clean. And the minimarts are very expensive compared to other places in Peru- stock up on snacks and water before you you arrive!

We planned two full days, which was great for a relaxing vacation, but we could have done Paracas with one full day. Next time, I would plan to visit the Islas Ballestas at 8am the first morning, have lunch in town afterwards, then visit the National Reserve in the afternoon. Visiting the reserve in the morning was probably better, since the wind is a problem in the afternoon, but it could still be done in one day. Either way, if you're in Paracas you must see both the islands and the reserve. Plan for a ceviche lunch at Playa Lagunillas.

The visit to the Ballestas Islands is really worth it, and the quality of the tour is fair, but I regretted to not have been able to spend more time there; we went back about 30 minutes earlier than planned, and we stayed like barely 5 minutes to observe the sea lions from close.
The other main tour is the Paracas natural reserve, which in itself is beautiful, but the tour was not so great, as we made several stops which were not so necessary to me and when we finally made it to the main spot which was playa Lagunilla, we didn't have time to take a swim.

Cute little town to visit for a day and do the bird island excursion. Although the boats are packed and your knees will hurt from sitting in tight quarters. Everyone stood up once we got there and we had a hard time seeing anything. Beach is dirty, busy and not worth it. But it's Peru and it's interesting none the less.
This is more of a B&B than a hotel in that you may have to ring the doorbell because there may not be anyone hovering near the front desk . . . They may be working to keep this place spotlessly clean, and I don't know how they did it, considering that Paracas is nestled between the beach and the desert? There are comfortable common space on each of the floors and a rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. I would definitely stay here again if in Paracas!
Great stay. While the hosts do not speak English they tried their best through Google translate to explain everything to us and were prepared to do a lot for their guests. We also had breakfast included which was perfect. Coffee/tea, fruit, bread, marmalade, eggs. If you buy it at the property it only costs 10 soles which was a very good price.
Location is a 8 min walk from the centre of the tiny town which was not far.
It has the facilities and vibes of a nice hostel, but the service of a fancy hotel. Great location, Paracas is tiny so everything is nearby but it's still very quiet at night. Comfortable and clean.
The owners are always there to make sure you have a good time in Paracas, they know a lot about the area and you can have really good conversations with them.
The staff at San Agustín Paracas are always very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean and the beauty is that each room, no matter what floor or position, you have a view of the pool and the bay. The hotel is close to the bus station and local amenities. The food is excellent and around the same price if not less than local restaurants.
Very clean, well ventilated rooms, clean towels, clean curtains. The hostel appears newly renovated, and well maintained. Firm beds which was my preference. Very accomodating staff who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location was central, adjacent to the Restaurant Paracas, a common meeting point for various tours.
Hospedaje San Gabriel is a humble hotel near Paracas harbor. Andrés is very friendly and helpful. He helps you organize your visits around Paracas (Reserva Nacional, Oasis Huacachina or Isla Ballestas). You don't have to worry about anything, he'll help you with your needs.
The rooms are simple, yet clean and comfy.
This is a hidden gem. The food is good, the drinks are good, the service is exceptional. Paracas is not a swimming in the beach type place, it is a fishing town. While the hotel is next to the beach don't except to swim there. The hotel has a pool, but given the beach, there are seagulls everywhere by the pool.
Everything is great: location, room, breakfast with a view, free bikes for guests... but the best thing is definitely the staff! I've never had any hotel staff go so much out of their way to make us feel at home. Thank you so much! We feel incredibly privileged.
The hotel is located in the suburban calm area of Paracas. People work here we’re very kind and especially a restaurant staff Srta. April was so caring lady that my breakfast was very comfortable. Thanks indeed and I hope I can come back soon!
This is the best place you can stay with very reasonable price. The location is unbeatable. The room had the view of the main square and the sea. Also the bed was really comfortable.
Bonus: you can organize the tours via the hotel :)
The place was tidy, even though the street is a dirt road so the floor gets dirty when you walk in, the staff were cleaning it a lot .The staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate us.
Breakfast was excellent and the chefs were very accommodating with food allergies. Super beautiful and comfortable hotel, well thought through lighting, convenient to the boat ride.
very clean and well kept hotel. close to the main area of paracas. comfortable bed and good hot water in the shower. would definitely come back and staff were friendly
