I stop here because I wanted to visit Prismas Balsamicos, but unfortunately due to Covid it was closed the day I went. I will definitely go back when they open back up. The little town was cute and friendly people. I visit the ex Hacienda Santa Maria Regla it's a beautiful place,

We visited Huasca for a weekend from Friday to Sunday. We really enjoyed it. For those looking at a nature out of the city trip, you might get a little overwhelmed by the touristic infrastructure. For the rest, you will find yourself in the perfect area for a family trip.

This is a nice little town in the state of Hidalgo.
This is a nice little town in the state of Hidalgo. Curiously, we learned that this was the first town in Mexico to be declared as a "Pueblo Mágico" (Magic Town).
There are a few nice restaurants on the downtown, so it's easy to have lunch and/or dinner while staying there. The people are nice and helpful to serve you.
We went to a couple of local attractions: a small park that exhibits prisms made of natural basalt, augmented with a nice human-made waterfall, and a place called "El Zembo", dedicated to trout breeding.

We only had coffee and pastries at this hotel.
The hacienda was everything I remember from years past.
The room was extremely large and had a sauna.
The king size bed was very comfortable.
The history of the hacienda is amazing.
The security guard at the door/gate was wonderful and very helpful, his name is Sabino. I felt secure at night knowing someone was at the front 24/7.
The server at the restaurant was very polite.
The staff of the hotel is a very nice family, they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The place is really beautiful, with a small stream running in the middle of the property, and access to the woods behind it for a nice walk. Great location, quite area, but walking distance to the center of the village.
3-4km drive to Huasca town, quiet place. Lots of place to park car. Easy to spot the hotel since it's just right beside the main road. Water pressure is good, hot water for bath is good. Very helpful receptionist, as she helped to boil hot drinking water upon our requested.
The garden for the cabana was really nice and fun for kids and dog. The location of the hotel is good. It's not too far to walk into center of town, if you want to avoid the difficult parking experience in town. Cabana was comfortable. Bathroom and shower were good.
the hotel is very beautiful, with colorful flowers everywhere, they have two sweet rescue dogs, it’s located about a five-minute walk from downtown and many stands and shops; it’s great value for your money and the staff is friendly
A really nice cabin in a fairly secluded (but not unaccessible spot), perfect for a short stay as a couple. Well equipped kitchen. We had a small problem with the water supply on our first day but it was sorted out very quickly.
Loved the location - quiet yet close to center. The exterior and common areas of the hotel was beautiful but the rooms could use some updating. Still, it was comfortable. The shower in particular was great!
This was such a cute little hotel!! They have so many flowers and green areas. The beds are comfy and super close to the downtown area by foot. The staff is very useful and friendly.
