The hotel is located 10 mins away from the airport and it's a very good option for a last day in Venice, which was my case. There are 2 bus stops within 3 mins walk and from there you have direct transport to the airport, Venice and the train station. Staff were friendly and allowed us to check in one hour earlier. Also, they provided me with iron and ironing board. Not only that, but they practically saved me 10 euro by explaining me that I can enter Venice for free by being their guest. I wasn't aware of that rule.

We loved the hostess , the location and the house . Everything was nice and clean . The only down side was the squeaky bed.
The breakfast wasn't bad . Bus stop taking you to Venice is right in front of the hotel

This is a sweet little family B&B operated in their home close to the airport. The continental breakfast spread is great. The location is minutes from Marco Polo airport, and if you are looking for dinner, there is a very good pizza place a few blocks away that makes pizza in 3 sizes for any appetite. It is about 15 minutes from the Venice Piazzale Roma bus station. One thing I really loved was waking up and seeing trees and rose bushes out my window and birds singing.
Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Villa Erica & Villa Erica 1 offers accommodations in Venice, 3.7 mi from Ca' d'Oro. Free private parking is available on site.

Our room looked just like the pics. Clean, comfortable bed, good shower. Plenty of hot water. We checked in late, with no trouble as Lucia emailed the door code & info ahead of time. Lucia was wonderful when we met her in the morning. There is a common room with kitchen and deck, we put some things in the fridge.
We took the number 5 bus directly from airport station which is right outside of baggage claim. We got our tickets in the terminal in the hallway, and the only thing available was an 11-euro bus plus water bus ticket. It wasn't what we needed, terrific overkill actually. But those buses run every few minutes from very early in the morning until midnight. In fact there was a bus waiting. We hopped on Road our our very few stops and got off at the stop in Compalto that Lucia told us to take. From there the hotel was maybe 50 yards away. Once we got situated we walked around town around 10:00 at night. It's a small town and the only people are that we saw what are drinking in the wine Cafe and corner bar. Very peaceful, and we felt safe.
In the morning we went to Venice for the day on the number 5 bus. We had gotten 3-day transport passes at the airport for Venice as we were going to change hotels to Venice the next day and that worked extremely well for getting around. I will note the 3-day passes say that they do not include the airport bus. I don't know if number 5 bus counts as the airport bus but it might. The passes covered all our water buses, and we went all over the islands.

The hotel was good ,
The hotel was good ,
The only downsize was u can only buy a bus ticket single trip from The hotel and I must pay with cash while u can pay with card The hotel itself.
Then we had to wait till 16.00 o clock to buy bustickets at The local tobacco store.
Becoz u cant buy a ticket in The bus to venice, I found a little bit sufficiënt and old fashion in a modern world today …….but hé I got to see venice and that was sooooooo great for an old man like me :)

Campalto is situated near Venice, close to Marco Polo Airport (5km). For people who prefer a cheaper stay in a good hotel when visiting Venice may choose this option in the area around.
Venice hotels are quite expensive.
In Campalto you will find supermarkets like Lidl with a larger and cheaper choice than the smaller supermarkets in Venice center.

I don't even know the name of the person who welcomed my family. That madam's beautiful smile keeps coming to mind. I think I will keep thinking of the breakfast that she prepared deliciously with all her sincerity.

Campalto is a little a little run down with lots of empty shops and not a great deal to do. However, there are many little cafés/bars that are open very long hours. Plenty of places to eat and drink at a fairly reasonable price. Very close to the airport and Venice city both just a short bus ride away, but beware as buses are fairly pricey and 1 price whether you want to travel 1 stop or from one end of the line to the other.
It would be interesting to compare Campalto now to pre covid as I wonder if lack of business, during covid, has caused a lot of the shops to close. Even the large Marco Polo hotel is closed at present
Absolutely perfect location just 20 min to Venice via city bus #5 stop 2 blocks away. It is a modern property with helpful staff. We had a great breakfast, but unfortunately our flight schedule did not allow us to eat the second morning. If you have an early flight it is best to not prepay for breakfast. The choices were extensive on the morning we ate. Two automatic espresso machines cranking out great drinks, yogurt, eggs, cereals, and fruit. So definitely a great breakfast if your schedule allows.
Campalto js a great base to discover Venice. It’s only a 20-minute bus ride to Piazzale Roma. The accomodation was clean and spacious. We appreciated the coffee voucher and the daily housekeeping. There was tea and coffee in the room. There is also a shared dining space with a big fridge and a dishwasher. Great value for money. You can find a bakery, vegetable store and pizzeria nearby.
The location is excellent. the bus stop is in front of Camping Rialto and buses run on time. The place is very relaxing. This is a must location when coming to Venice.
Staff is very welcoming and accommodating. I have to say that Nonna Tecla was by far our favorite person, she makes you feel like at home.
Thank you to all the Camping Rialto personnel!!
The host/staff was simply phenomenal.
There is a restaurant up front- fantastic.
Two great options for public transportation to Venice’s main bus station.
Easy access to/from Venice Mestre (train station).
10-15 mins from airport (few bus options €10pp or taxi €25-30)
All was great about this place and we totally recommend it.
Breakfast was lovely. Fried eggs, cold cuts, cheese, bread, pastries, fruit, juice and great cappucino. Room was well arranged to sleep 4 people with shelving on one wall for everyone to put their belongings. Small table to sit at, nice bathroom. Gated parking and the bus to center of Venice picks up nearly at the hotel.
Perfect starting point for a Venice visit, as you can leave your car in the hotel's parking lot and take the local bus (bus stop is about 30m(!) from the hotel.
Nevertheless, the biggest selling points are the restaurant in the hotel, the quality of food AND the kindness of hotel/restaurant staff. :)
Hotel was clean and room was ok. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was very good with lots if choices. Car park very big. Staff helpful and friendly. To Venice we use bus which man from reception explain us everything and even sold tickets for bus. Really nice stay.
This Hotel is perfect for visiting Venice, very close to a bus stop and 10 minutes or so to Venice.
The hotel itself is so comfortable with fantastic breakfasts, good wifi and plenty of free parking. I definitely recommend staying here.
It was a great location for going into Venice by bus! The bus stop was right outside the front of the hotel. The room was larger than we thought it would be, and the same for the bed. It had a nice view of the neighborhood.
I was exhausted after the flight. It was quiet and there was teabags and hot water. It is easy walking to bus stops going into Venice or back to the airport. The manager had a beautiful spread for a continental breakfast.
It met my needs for somewhere to stay after arriving into Venice airport late at night. the hotel is basic, but clean, comfortable and friendly. also extremely convenient for the bus from airport to Venice.
It was clean and tbe cleaning staff did a great job every day it was nice!
The location is good too, near grocery store and bus, you can get to venice in 15 minutes:)
The kettle and tea/coffee was nice.
The room was big and comfortable. Staffs were nice and very helpful. The hotel is located in a perfect place from where the airport is 10 min, and Venice train station is 20 min distance by car/bus.
Breakfast was very nice. Staff was helpful e.g. when Wifi did not work. Connection to Venice was perfect (15 min by bus and busstop right outside the hotel). Parking right infront of the hotel.
Hassan is very friendly. Rooms really are decorated very creatively and beautifully. Super easy to get to the bus into Venice from this spot and right on the road to the airport.
Location was perfect if you need to catch early morning flights. Couple who manages the hotel are very kind and helpful. Room was clean, air conditioned and spacious..
