*Beautiful hotel and garden, BUT everything else is CHEAP & COST-CUTTING.
*Parking was relatively easy.

Basically we did not stay in the cave rooms but we were relocated to the Java Hotel just down the road and it is a lovely hotel all round and ideally located to visit the caves.

Close proximity to the caves a few kms away! Near to shops and services! Parking on site.
Utensils meant we could prepare a picnic!
The accommodation was clean and comfy! We stayed 2 nights and it was ideal for our needs! It is on a main road but we were to the back so not disturb at all!
We loved the area, away from the crowd. It was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. We stayed in one of many huts which had all you need for the stay. The camp has playgrounds and places like swimming pool where you can relax too. We didn't get to use the swimming pool as it was open only hours when we were out and about ,away from the camp.
Kitchen could do with some extra utensils bits, like bigger cups, kettle, knives, wooden spoons.
The restaurant is placed at the top of one of the larger cave with a beautiful view and they have a very good selection of food.
It is a short walk from the camp to Postojna caves through the woods 3km, (by shortcut, not on the road).Definitely a nice place for outdoor lovers, biking or hiking.
It would be nice if there was a camp fire pit, we didn't ask to be honest, so maybe we have not seen it. To sum up - we like the place a lot and we would come back.

The cave is an unmissable experience, but the town itself is also very atmospheric for a short walk.
Main squere and the church is very nice.
We tried Mal'ca Kebab restaurant and Pizzeria Cuk. Both were very good with solid prices.

What a secret gem!
What a secret gem! We stumbled upon Postojna by accident and we are so glad we did. Slovenia is beautiful and the people here are wonderful. The food is amazing and the cave tour was by far one of the best excursions I have ever done.

From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves.
From Centre you can walk to the spectacular caves. There are also many walks around the countryside (riverside walks and woodland walks.) There are supermarkets to stock up on essentials....Tuc supermarket has a good bakery too.
The cafe in the central square is very pleasant and has a good selection of ice cream.
From the caves you need to hire or share a taxi to the equally spectacular castle. (In the summer there maybe a shuttle bus).

There were two major attractions, the Postojna cave and Predjama castle, I recommend both.
We were looking for a traditional Slovenian restaurant, but didn't find one nearby (or at least it's not on google).

Magnificent huge cave; nice train trip inside.
Magnificent huge cave; nice train trip inside. Plenty to watch, sadly the guide offered a fast forward tour, the cave was packed with people, you didn’t have time to see or take pictures. They should restrict number of people allowed/tour or time visit when extremely crowded. There are time admissions which you can reserve, but they are useless because they also accept direct bookings on spot ☹
It was a great stay at rooms Cehovin. We were travelling by bicycles and were not sure about the time of arrivale. Darja and her colleagues were, however, very friendly and responsive to our needs. The room was very cosy and comfortable. We were even suggested the room at the silent side of the house to rest peacefully after the long bike ride. On the next day we visited the Cave of Postojna which is just 5 minutes away from the appartment.
It is perfectly clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The hostess speaks perfect English. If you visit Postojna caves, then it is right in the town center, 2 km from the caves. The town has a few good dining choices within walking distance. It is very easy to find a parking space, free, and safe. Highway access, Lidl/Mercator/Hofer/Spin Europa large grocery stores are just 1 km from the facility. The environment is safe, quiet, and pretty.
Good location - only a short walk to the local shops, a couple of takeaways and a decent bar nearby too! Around 20 minutes walk away from the Postojna Caves / similar to the train station. My daughter and I enjoyed using the table tennis and social area for games.
Clean, comfortable. The host was helpful and let us leave our bags after checkout. Great location near bus station and pleasant 20 minute walk to the caves. The wonderful welcoming treats were a very nice touch. There were also coffee and tea, and a kettle.
Good location to visit the Postojna caves. Clean room, comfortable beds, and friendly hosts who made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with a tricky situation unrelated to our stay at Lemonwood House. Would stay there again anytime.
The place is for people who love nature and would like to go for a walk in the mountain. You need a car to reach it. 15 min from the Postojna cave by car. Reasonable price. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen. Free parking and wi-fi. I recommend it.
Extremely lovely and helpful hosts, room with beautiful panorama, perfect location for accommodation if you visit Postojna cave (10 min drive), Predjama Castle and Skocjana caves, 2 good restaurants nearby (5 and 20 mins walk) .
Perfect location if you want to visit the cave. Hotel is renowated, food is great and staff is friendly.
There are shops with souvenirs and places to eat and drink coffe below the hottel, all in one place!
Great accommodation just few minutes walk from Postojna Cave. Rooms clean and well equipped. Lovely garden with children playground. Free parking place. Everything was amazing.
Very beautiful, clean and cozy apartment. There is a laundrymachine available in the apartment. Communication was easy with owner. From walking distance to cave Postojna.
The apartment was spacious and clean. The breakfast was exceptional. Postojna cave was very close by car from property. The owners are very kind and friendly.
Parking is located just outside of the room. Room is clean! A room is 15 minutes away from Postojna cave. Very near, you have a couple of good restaurants.
