It was quite crowded in early May. We did a walking tour with Radius. Our guide Patrick was excellent but he had a larger group than we’d been promised, and it was hard to hear at times. Munich is beautiful.
Munich is beautiful. There is so much to explore - I wish we had stayed longer. The Marienplatz is spectacular as too are the churches. The markets are magnificent - I’ve never seen so many beautifully displayed food stalls.

The city is well worth the visit.
The city is well worth the visit. Although it suffered during the WWII, there are still many historical building and churches preserved. One can also take interesting one day trips from Munich. I went to view the castel Neuschwanstein and took an excursion to the former concentration camp Dachau. The room was nice and clean with ample space for our stuff. The staff were nice and spoke English. Since it was too early for our check-in when we arrived, we left our luggage in the lobby and it was safe. It was also a few minutes walk from the train station. The wi-fi was great too.
