The lodge is run by a small family. We had the feeling that they put in alot of passion. The improssion we got was very professional, keeping in mind that Putre is at 3200 meters of altitude. They tried their best to talk to us, even though our spanish was realy poor. The food was realy good! We enjoyed the stay even though we had a cold shower, we are not sure if we should have done something differently to get warm water....we can highly recommend it.

Die Terrace Lodge liegt 3.560 m über dem Meeresspiegel und ist nur 2 Gehminuten vom Zentrum von Putre entfernt. Die Unterkunft ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um das chilenische Altiplano zu erkunden. After travelling for 3 months I can say that this place was one of my favorite. Elena and Francisco are simply the best, they went their ways and above to make me feel at home and make sure I had the best stay. The hotel is situated in the center of Putre with incredible views on the mountains and a beautiful garden. The room itself was perfect with a beautiful view on the mountains, nicely decorated and very nice bathroom (hot water was a plus). On top of all of that, the bed is very comfortable, loads of pillow and duvets. Very warm at night with heating. The breakfast is delicious and very varied. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back to this special place.
