We wanted to find it on our way to the Oakland airport. It was early morning and suddenly we were driving down the corkscrew road! It was so fun. My kids loved the experience. And doing it at sunrise was perfect!

We took the trolley from Ghirardelli Square up the hill to Lombard and walked down. I cannot imagine driving in SF. We saw several folks on Segways come down the hill. They looked like they had a great time. Beautifully landscaped area.

Hire one of those little yellow three wheeler cars.
Hire one of those little yellow three wheeler cars. The best way to see San Francisco. Good fun and comes with a talking GPS that tells you all you need to know on the way. And you get to drive down Lombard street without having to wait. Awesome experience.

Great views of the city from streets to the North and South. Less tourists to spoil the view. Walk down, not up. Walk down the right side to get better photos if visiting early in the day, that way the sun will not be in your lens.

Didn't even see it. Trolley and bus tours don't take you close enough. We drove by the top side of it, but hills are so steep that you can't see anything from the top. I recommend driving by the bottom of the curved section to see it.Laura TerpstraUnited States of America
