Good market produscts withpassionate and knowlegible stall holders. We were carefull to put our purchases into ordinary carrier bags before exiting and to know where we were heading as the surrounding streets seemed to have a high population of devients/troubled/ addicted/ homeless people.

Nicely updated hotel right outside of Cork City center- walking distance to the English Market, restaurants, and shops. Nice breakfast option too! Was nice since we were driving that you could get to the hotel without driving right through the center of the city.

We met Michelle when we arrived and what a lovely person. She assisted us with all our request and went out of her way to see how she could help us. Location was great! In walking distance from the English Market and all the shopping and great pubs. We also walked to the restaurants at night in the city centre. The Green Frog Cafe on the corner had the best pastries and we loved their cappuccinos. We could also access the bus to the station just around the corner. Rooms were very clean.

Shandon Bells B&B was a nice place to stay for a couple of nights as we explored Cork and the surrounding areas. We didn't pay to have breakfast there and really only slept there. My friend and I split a room and appreciated that there was parking available in the lot next door. The room was clean, the area was safe and quiet, even being close to the university. We were in easy walking distance to several pubs, restaurants and the English Market.

Beautiful guest house with very helpful and welcoming staff. Comfortable beds and delicious breakfast. Loved that we could keep our car parked at the facility and walk to the English Market. Got our exercise in with the hill! Very clean room with excellent shower and lovely view. Kathleen greeted us warmly and made sure that we had everything we needed. She offered a late checkout the next morning so that we could enjoy a later breakfast, and Valerie happily made that a possibility. So nice!
