Everyone told us to go over and I have to say we were disappointed. The ferry ride over is nice but the actual attractions except for the fort at the top really aren't worth it. The walk up the hill to the fort is pretty steep so not great for small kids or people with mobility issues. I would recommend kayaking over and enjoying the island from the water or doing something else.

Lokrum island was the best part of Dubrovnik for us.

Lokrum island was the best part of Dubrovnik for us. You have to walk through the old town to get to the small harbour where boats run regularly to Lokrum which is relatively close by. (From memory maps are given out with tickets.) There are a number of places to eat and drink on the island. We headed over the island to the right n found fabulous rock slabs with sea rock pools where people swam in the sea or sunbathed. We headed for the Dead Sea initially we think n thetr is a great beach bar there.

It is unspoiled, still the condition of the paths could be improved, also more and better direction signs and better information of the history are needed. "Game of Thrones" was fun to see, but it should not be THE most important site.

The view is 10 out of 10. You have the sea, Old Town and Lokrum island in front of you. Balcony is perfect and with that view you don't need anything else. The host is awesome, she will show you everting that you need for a pleased stay in Dubrovnik.

Location easy walking distance into the Old Town, and the view from the hotel looking out towards Island of Lokrum and towards the old walled city is amazing. The breakfast choice was superb and I would rate it higher than a lot of equivalent standard hotels that we have stayed at. We organised the transfer from airport to the hotel through the hotel reception. The driver was wonderful and had plenty of useful information. All the staff were brilliant.

Nikolina is a great host, we received a warm welcome from her! And fresh juice. The bathroom is beautiful and very clean! The balcony is very nice and quiet and we have a nice view. The room is quiet enough. Also thanks to other quiet guests. The location is great, it is between the new town and the old town, easy to go anywhere. We spent 3 nights here, and it is the best option to explore Dubrovnik, if you like relaxing trip. (One day old town, one day new town, one day lokrum island.) We recommend this place 100%.

The best part of the apartment is the amazing balcony and view of Old Town, the azure Adriatic and the island of Lokrum. View is simply stunning. Walking distance to Old Town albeit we did not realize before we got there that everything in Dubrovnik is on a steep hill. Thus greatly appreciated great air conditioning on our return. Apartment very new and modern. Building is very quiet and feels very safe. Pemo market is close by.

The apartment had an excellent view over looking Lokrum island and the old town. It’s about a 10 min walk from the old town so it’s in a much quieter area which was nice. Apartment was clean and spacious.

Possibly the best part of Studio Ogresta is the view of the city. The apartment is located on the cliff next to the cable car station and offers a magnificent view of Lokrum, the Old Port and the historic Old Town itself. It is equipped with all necessary accessories (e.g., boiler, pans, hairdryer, towels, etc.). The host is exceptional! I took the shuttle bus from the airport and she picked me up from the main bus station. All in all, a great place to stay and I can highly recommend it.

The view form this apartment is unbeatable, with King's Landing on one side and Lokrum on the other. It's also next to a road, so uber to anywhere in Dubrovnik is cheap and easy. The house is decorated very artistically, and all appliances are modern and top quality, very suitable for a long term stay.

Excellent location! The hostel is right across the street from the marina if you plan to visit Mljet National Park or do the 3 island tour. Also just a quick & inexpensive bus to & from the Pile Gate to see The Old Town & visit Lokrum. There’s a grocery store right downstairs. Everything was very clean & in working condition.
