Great views of John's and the harbour - on a clear day! You can walk from Quidi Vidi or from the harbour on the North Head Trail, or walk / drive up the road. Nice cafe in the visitor's centre.PatriciaUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

The area between Quidi Vidi and Signal Hill is riddled with great trails. Ladies Lookout was special (look for the bald eagle nest). Take water and maybe food as you may (like us) end up hiking more than planned - well worth it.

We were within walking distance to many of the downtown sights as well as the ambitions Signal Hill. Parking was easy and we liked our room.
