We were able to get early check-in. On check-in, we were offered a room on a higher floor at a cost 50% more than the price we booked, so we declined that. This resulted in taking a room on the 1st floor, which was noisy. (See what we didn't like...) We agreed that the early check-in was not a bad trade-off for hearing the noise from outside.
