Located in Inveraray and within less than 1 km of Inveraray Castle, Brambles of Inveraray features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. This 4-star inn offers a 24-hour front desk. We had one of the new rooms which is beautifully furnished and has a very big bathroom with both shower and tub. Everything is new and clean and the bed is super comfortable. We would come back.

The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

Located just 5 miles from Oban, right on the lake shores and on Loch Etive, Lochnell Arms Hotel features a restaurant overlooking the famous Falls of Lora. Huge thanks to the staff at Lochnell Arms hotel. They made us feel welcome from the second we met them. Lovely, quiet hotel. Parking, great views, ideal location, just a few miles outside of Oban. Very good breakfast every morning too. We didn't eat in the hotel every night due to being late back from road trips but the food was great and we could see all other guests were enjoying themselves too. Local airport isn't any worry as the leisure flights are few and far between.

Situated in Dunoon, 13 km from Benmore Botanic Garden, The Coylet Inn by Loch Eck features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The staff here are like none I’ve met before. immediately felt like family and felt well taken care of. The room was perfect for what I needed and was very cozy! Every part of this place, although remote, was very lively!

Ben Cruachan Inn is located in Loch Awe and features a garden and terrace. The property has a bar, as well as a restaurant serving local cuisine. Each room has a flat-screen TV with satellite... Very calm, comfortable, and we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant.

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food... Great host!!!! He was very helpful and the view is very beautiful and I would highly recommend this hotel. P s:- Don't forget to checkout the bar and the drinks are very reasonable, 😀

Situated on the shores of the Kyles of Bute, Kames Hotel boasts original Edwardian features, home-cooked food and an extensive range of malt whiskies and local ales. Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The breakfast menu offered a wide selection of options and was cooked to perfection with wonderful ingredients. The hotel has a list of their food suppliers on display and this food provenance is reflected in the wonderful freshly cooked dinners we enjoyed. The main courses were all large portions and very satisfying. The bar had an excellent selection of scottish gins all well worth trying. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and very clean with plenty of tea and coffee supplies. The hosts Irene and Scott are very friendly and made us very welcome.

A traditional, family-run inn built in the 19th-century, located a short walk from the shores of Loch Melfort, The Cuilfail has a bar, a restaurant, free parking and free Wi-Fi. Enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal was superb. Small cosy bar with good selection of beer and whisky. Nice quiet location but not far from Oban. scenery was exceptional in this area. Would highly recommend this hotel.
