I travel a lot and it’s one of the best my stays! it’s really the hidden gem! this place is so cozy, comfortable, you are like coming to friends! location is perfect - on the one hand, you are like out of town, and on the other, five minutes on foot and you are in the center of Oxford! very friendly and caring staff. stylish rooms, comfortable bed, great shower. the restaurant on the ground floor so beautiful. and perfect included breakfast from restaurant grill brunch menu! delicious!

We expected that the hotel would be quite noisy, especially as we had a room beside the beer garden and close to the road. However this was never an issue. We also thought the hotel may have been a bit far from the High street, but it was an easy walk to all the tourist attractions. And to stroll along the river was quite idyllic.

A beautiful country Inn with oodles of charm, picturesque historic surroundings, and friendly staff and patrons. The room was small but comfortable and well equipped. A great, spacious bathroom. Owner was extremely helpful when the TV developed a fault. The food in the bar restaurant was outstanding. We had a roast the first night and Thai the second. Both superb. While the Inn is not open for breakfast the room is supplied with fruit and snack bars. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Great historic church nearby.

Great location. Welcoming, helpful staff. Room with a view (double room facing the Red Lion). 1 block from The Airline bus terminal (a great transit choice from Heathrow), walkable distance to railway station. Easy walk to all the top sites. Good food nearby. Quiet fan kept room cool during heat wave. Super ensuite bathroom. Very safe location. Great communication.
