The location in Gardens was excellent. There is a wonderful coffee shop a few blocks away, and the Kloof Street restaurants just a 10 to 15 minute walk. We walked to DeWaal Park, the Company's Gardens, and the Gardens mall. And, looming over Gardens is the beautiful Table Mountain. The neighborhood is safe and attractive, and Uber service is quick and convenient. Elize and Anne Marie are great hosts and made delicious breakfasts. We had one issue in the room, and Elize called a locksmith and had it fixed within the hour. We loved the historic feel of the house, which has been in Elize's family for 75 years or so. The sitting room and dining room were lovely.

This gabled villa is decorated in a rustic colonial style. Zeezicht is located at the foot of Table Mountain and offers views of Cape Town city and Table Bay. The rooms are furnished in dark wood and warm, natural tones. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and all rooms have a ceiling fan. Breakfast at Villa Zeezicht is served in the dining room, which features a chandelier and overlooks the garden. For relaxation guests can sit on the sun terrace and soak up the views. The Cape Town International airport is 12 mi away and free private parking is available. The V&A Waterfront is a 15 minute drive from the villa.
