501 Canal Quays apartment is particularly spacious and has picture windows to the west and north. The apartment is our second home and is in beautiful condition. It provides the facilities you would expect of a home. The design is slick and contemporary. There is a 24 hour security desk and a dedicated check-in facility at the Home From Home office on the ground floor. The neighbourhood is vibrant, interesting and features many visible security personnel. 501 Canal Quays is situated in the heart of Cape Town yet it is in a relatively quiet area as it faces on to the Roggebaai Canal and not a road. We overlook Lions Head and Signal Hill to the west, the city of Cape Town and Table Mountain to the south and the Roggebaai Canal and the new Yacht Club development to the north. The noon day gun on Signal Hill is a feature of Cape Town and clearly audible. The Waterfront is within easy walking distance. There is a very useful short-cut which is open between 07h00 and 19h00. The Cape Town International Conference Centre is 300m away. The historic city centre of Cape Town is a 5 minute walk. Guests take the My City bus to Sea Point and Camps Bay - others jog to Sea Point. There is a lovely water taxi linking the Westin hotel to the Waterfront passes in front of Canal Quays apartment building. The terminus for the Red Bus is a short walk away. 501 Canal Quays is a perfect location for exploring Cape Town or as a convenient base for business travelers.
