From the moment we arrived until our departure, our stay at the Big 5 Guesthouse was perfect. We were treated with such warmth and kindness by the staff every day. Anton greeted us upon arrival late at night and promptly served us the "best coffee south of the Sahara" the next morning. The breakfast was delicious and expertly cooked and presented each day, and our clean and quiet rooms were a welcome retreat at the end of every day. The location was ideal for our needs and served as an excellent hub from which we ventured out each day. I highly recommend Big 5 Guesthouse.

Located in a quiet suburb of Kempton Park, the Big 5 Guest house is only 3.1 mi away from Johannesburg International Airport. The Big 5 offers a number of clean and comfortable guest accommodations. The suites all come with a satellite TV and work desk. Each room is uniquely furnished and comes with a private bathroom with a shower. Guests to the Big 5 Guest house are free to make themselves at home and enjoy the friendly atmosphere – guests can relax by the heated pool, in the lapa area or in the guest lounge. The friendly owners offer a daily breakfast included in the room rate and guests can choose between Continental or a full-English breakfast each day. Dinner arrangements can also be made on a request basis. The Big 5 Guest house is within easy reach of the Emperors Palace Casino, which is less than 3.1 mi away. There are also numerous golf courses in the area as well as 4 of South Africa’s major cricket, rugby and football stadiums.
