Hoi An is a wonderful ancient town. The food options are endless, and very cheap. We recommend taking a food tour soon after you arrive to get a sense of the variety and options. We stayed about a 15-20min walk from the old town - so easy and convenient.

hoi an is a beautiful place, it has everything you wish for, you can walk through the charming streets in downtown, stroll along the river or if you want to relax you can go to the beach, it offers parties in the night time. It’s a big town but feels very cozy.

A beautiful city, particularly the old town. Amazing and delicious food everywhere at bargain prices. The salt coffee was the best thing I’ve ever tasted! Most tourists I have ever seen in a location. Very busy at night markets, which is every night, so that could get old. Loved the shopping and restaurants. Safe and easy to walk around. Easy to do day trips to other places also. A few good shows too...Memories and Tah Dar at Lune theater.

But it’s very easily accessible using the free bikes Peanut and Thao provide. And provides you a rest from the louder areas. Peanut and Thao are lovely. Their breakfast is to die for. We had room 203 which has a window on the pool and the door leads straight onto a view on the rice paddies. Though not the season (early November), there were still buffalo grazing the fields. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean and we had a little balcony that was super cute. The beds are probably the comfiest we have experienced in our entire 6 week trip. The pool was nice to cool down and breakfast although not included was really tasty. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Cong and his family are so lovely and were always ready to help with booking taxis, tours and suggesting great recommendations (Paddy House Cafe - great coffee spot!). The hotel is nice and quiet, the room and bed are very comfortable and the pool is nice to relax by. it’s located between the old town and the beach and they have bikes available so for those who cycle, it’s ideal. Like all hotels, it's a bit outside of Old Town, but you can borrow the hotel's bikes for free and bike along the river. It's easy, pretty, and safe to bike to town. We enjoyed being in a more typical Vietnamese neighborhood with plenty of places to eat nearby.
