Didn't get waffle as not heated element prior to me esting
We really enjoyed Woodward. We have never been there before. Everyone we met were very friendly and the area was very nice. Places we ate were all good. We didn't drive through the entire town, as we needed to get back home to Oklahoma City. I would have liked to seen more and stayed longer. My son said he wished we lived there.

Woodward is a sweet little town. Nice to walk through.

A few restaurants didn't survive 2020 but the ones we tried this time were nice.
The architecture is interesting. Obvious when this town arose from the dust.
Everyone we encountered was friendly.

Restaurants weren't readily available but the ones we finally chose had decent food. The Downtown Diner's breakfast and staff were outstanding. Extremely courteous, kind and the service was excellent.

Locals are friendly and you can find just about anything you might need passing through. It is just big enough to offer a choice of places to eat, shop, sleep, and buy food and gas. If you are headed NW, it is the LAST decent sized location to stay before Dodge City. National chains are located here, but the mom and pop businesses seem best.

Very friendly people in the town.
Very friendly people in the town. We used this town as our main point for visiting other places, like Gloss Mountain (we went 2 different days and climbed it both times). I like the Cowboy store and tac shop. The lady in it was very helpful in buying my relative a cowboy hat. I also bought the cutest earrings I love in the same store.

the people of woodward are so nice and friendly we were there for a rodeo and the town wanted us there. Have been to so many towns for rodeo and they could care less if you were there. But Woodward embraces you.
The location was great. Close proximity to excellent food is a great bonus. I usually find beds in hotel too soft, and that was not the case here. I slept great and rarely do while traveling. Would stay here again.
The price was good. Since the pandemic the hotel prices have sky rocketed. The La Quinta in Woodward was only $84 for one night. The place is older, it was clean and everything worked. The in room coffee was good.
It was a nice high quality room for a good price. I spend a weekend in Woodward from time to time and this hotel has been my favorite so far. Definitely going there from now on.
