FAQs about hotels in Las Vegas

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Amazing destination for your vacation unlike anywhere else in the World. We hadn't been there in a decade and were amazed by how expensive everything was! If you get a chance, get out of town and drive a couple of hours out to Mt.Zion National Park, it's a perfect break and astonishing!

Years ago we felt safe coming to Las Vegas with our family (small children), used to stay at a resort and enjoyed the place during the day and part of the night. Now Las Vegas has gone wild, too many weed consumers all around, everything smells like smoked weed, and intoxicated people walking around on the streets. We did not feel safe during our last stay and will probably not come back ever again for family vacations.

Death Valley, the Mob museum and The Sphere were the three best tours that I did in Las Vegas. I did not appreciate the very high prices on the Strip. I think that the Resort Fees is a big rip off. However, I would still highly recommend visiting Las Vegas to my friends and I think that (Baily's) now called the Horseshoe is an excellent well located hotel.

Vegas is not for kids. Daytime, fine. Fun places, things to see. But after 7pm watch out! I appreciate that the guys handing out stripper cards didn't give any to my 6ft tall 14yr old son. But the girls on the Strip (pretending to be showgirls? Please! Showgirls are athletes!) kept stopping me (female) and my son (we went to a late comedy show or he wouldn't have been out late at all). It was annoying. Ladies, I'm walking with a kid. Maybe just let me keep walking?

There is a lot to do besides partying and gambling. There are plenty of other activities around the city, and plenty of free options as well. It is a very fun place to be and definitely worth a visit. There are also a lot of outdoor adventures you can do with a little drive out! Highly recommend exploring all your options, you will find something you like to do.

Location on the Strip, you can start at Excalibur and walk to all that you want and back. Use Mobile check-in if the line at Reception is long, which it almost always is. No fridge in room, consider that. Big can if beer at hotel many kiosks is 10 dollars, on the strip even 20 so if you are a big group or drink many beers, buy from a grocery and keep in a cooler box. Room price is cheap, around 29 per night but with taxes, tourist fee and parking (18 per night) we paid for 2 nights total of 219 dollars

Fantastic location in centre of the Las Vegas strip, close to attractions and monorail, yet slightly off the main boulevard so it's not too noisy. Great value compared to other hotels. Room was very big and comfortable. Loved the shower pressure and spacious bathroom. Staff are friendly and doing their utmost best with the huge volume of guests. Bell desk service was great. Loved the 24/7 convenience store and late night food court.

We were able to book this room for around 100$ in low season. This is an amazing deal. The hotel is located near the strip. Parking is included which is amazing. The room is big! You get a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. You could easily stay with a family in this room designed for two. The room was super clean as well. One of the best rooms and one of the best value for money deals I've ever had!

We we're looking for a place to conveniently stay the night while passing through Las Vegas, not for the entertainment of "The Strip". Getting from car to room was quick--not a major hike like the mega-hotels on The Strip. Also very quick to get to from I15. This was ideal for us. That said, the location is pretty close to The Strip.
