Clean comfortable room, bed was comfortable, and breakfast...
Clean comfortable room, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was nice. The room was a nice size, not cramped but plenty of space. We had our little dogs and I could tell the room was clean as they did not sniff around the room heavily indicating the room was cleaned well. It also was nice and quiet not noisy. It was as if we were the only ones around.

Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff not overly helpful.
Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff not overly helpful. Asked about water refill but the didn't have a water fountain. Which I found odd. Breakfast was OK but many items needed to be refilled and only one person working in this area. She tried hard to keep things going but was overwhelmed with requests. For as large as area was, they should have 2 people working there. One of air pots not working very well.

We went back to visit family. Lived in Elk City years ago. The city has changed a lot, still a nice place, but more options. Ate at Prairie Grill, an unexpected oasis of great service and good food. Ate at Simon's Catch, south of Elk City, near Merritt. Good catfish, cole slaw, and beans. Boiled shrimp were great. Got a malt and a shake at Braum's... always a treat. Went by the new high school and Arrowhead Center.

The Route 66 Museum complex is great but not for days over 100 degrees as some buildings are not air conditioned! The event that I attended was less than expected due to the extreme heat and lack of volunteers in Elk City for this national auto event. There was nothing in the hotel room to suggest restaurants, and this is needed.

We stopped for the night specifically to visit the Route 66 Museum and it exceeded our expectations. Lots of history and reasonable-$4 for seniors. Be sure to visit adjoining and included local museum.
We stayed at a hotel in Phoenix just days before we stayed here. Even though this hotel had a much lower rate, it was just as nice. The bed was comfy. The room was good size and clean. Nice size tv. A nice table and 2 chairs. We like to play cards and Upwords etc. when we travel so the table was great.
There were 3 pillows so we asked for one more. The desk clerk brought one right up. She was very nice.
We didnt stay for breakfast.
We stopped here for the night on our way to the Grand Canyon. The room was clean and staff was friendly. The hotel is just old and outdated but was fine for the night. The room had a slightly strange smell and felt very humid when we got in but we were comfortable enough for the night. It was good for what we needed- a comfortable bed to sleep in before getting back on the road.
The location was great. I was driving a big truck and there was a nice big area for truck parking. The area around the hotel was neat, clean and well groomed.
The reception staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel had enough large carts to move luggage.
The shower head in the bathroom was fabulous. I had a nice hot shower.
The room and halls were immaculate.
This was our second stay at the hotel. The first time the room was great. No complaints. The mattress was comfortable and the room clean. The second time, the room was very clean. I love that it has tile floors and not carpet and that it doesn't use big comforters on the bed. The sheets and blankets were clean. I didn't feel gross sitting on the bed.
The value for the price for the room. Room was clean bed comfortable. You can tell this is a older style motel able to park in front of your room. They allow pets which is a plus. If your on a budget good place to stay. This is the second time there and will stay again on our travels.
During our 2 week vacation, we spent 8 days traveling spending 8 nights at 8 different hotels. I rate the Sleep Inn at Elk City as the best place we stayed. If I ever return to Elk City you can bet that I will stay at the Sleep Inn. Great coffee. Great breakfast. Great staff.
The breakfast was AWESOME! We stay in a lot of hotels and since I have a dairy protein allergy, I was so pleasantly surprised that they had Almond Milk!!! There was a great selection as well.
The beds were SUPER comfy and like the layout of the room.
First room that was supposedly a non-smoking room had a very strong odor of smoke. Staff were very helpful and found another room that met our needs. Excellent value for money, but would choose a nicer hotel next time.
The location was great and the room was immaculate. The bed was awesome and the price was well worth the old time charm the big hotels across the street do not have. Would stay there again in a minute!
I LIKED NOTHING- DID NOT STAY AS THEY CANCELED MY BOOKING THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME. NEVER STAY AT AN OYO HOTEL RHEY ARE A SCAM AND A RIP OFF AND IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH A REAL HUMAN
Nothing about the hotel, that's for sure, BUT the night manager was considerate , courteous and professional top score for her putting up with such a mess.
