This is a very old, out-dated hotel.
This is a very old, out-dated hotel. The furnishings are old and worn out. The staff is very helpful and friendly, but that does not make up for the worn out facilities. I booked at one rate, and then the rate was changed on me one week prior to my stay. My rate was almost tripled. I presume that was as a result of the owners realizing that there was a Nascar event that weekend. Regardless, it should not have been done. I should have been given the rate I was originally quoted, and not gouged as I was. By the time I was informed it was too late to book at another hotel. Shame on them. I will not stay again.RickUnited States of America
