The property is lovely. The hostess and the receptionist were very welcoming and accommodating. The hostess upgraded our room so we could be on the ground level at a modest increase in the room rate. Breakfast was homemade and delicious. Highly recommend this Inn.

The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable.
The staff is excellent. Room was charming and comfortable. Well, maintained. The breakfast is one of the best we've ever had. They had tamales! The salsa was fresh and tasty. Cookies chips and salsa in the afternoon in the lobby. On site laundry. Taos is easy to get around and they have an excellent public library.

Taos is currently working on their Plaza.
Taos is currently working on their Plaza. I’m looking forward to that project being completed. Around the Plaza the Gorge and the Alley Cantina are both great places to eat and drink. The trip to Rancho de Taos is mandatory. Not only for the beautiful church but for the restaurant in the plaza behind the church. The Ranchos Plaza Grill is fantastic!! Their hours are kinda weird so check before going.

I like Taos. The people are friendly and there are plenty of food options. The area is beautiful, there are views of the mountains and great sunsets. I love the architecture too. Adobe homes are so attractive and practical.

Slightly too touristy for my liking, but with some lovely walks when you drive to them; well worth to go to the Rio GRande gorge walks and also see the bridge and walk across it; Taos pueblo is always worth a visit and to do a tour there; this time we did the enchanted circle drive, very stunnng scenery.
Taos centre is ok for a coffee, but I would avoid it mainly

This was my second visit to this wonderful city, my first was 27 years ago! Last time we went rafting and horseback riding up on the ski slopes, breathtaking. This time we went Hot Air ballooning and it was spectacular and magical. I am a shopper so if you like to shop you've come to the right place. Tons of wonderful shops and galleries. Restaurants were excellent. I had done my research and booked everything in advance. Tons of great places for coffee and a lovely ice cream shop. Several things that were different from last time, Taos now has warmer nights in the summer, no need for fleece at night. Hiking boots really aren't necessary to walk around Taos Plaza. We dined outside once or twice and we were in sleeveless tops with sandals, would have been too cold to do this years ago. This is a lovely town and perfect for a weekend getaway. Oh the drive between Taos and Santa Fe is worth it, just for the breathtaking views.
Cutest idea ever. I got a little cold in the night but got up and found a heater, that morning I found the real heater (hahahaha), So funny. Wonderful porch to sit on when I woke up and drank my "french press" coffee, way better than a hotel room without the beautiful view off my personal porch. Did I mention quiet, no upstairs or outside noices, so peaceful. Plus, you can buy some wood for a fire outside. A couple trailers did this, such a great idea. I would recommend to all I know going to Taos.
Loved the exceptionally clean and large room, great outside balcony/patio. Beautiful, clean swimming pool and spa/hot tub. Breakfast was probably the best I've ever had a any hotel anywhere. Multiple hot breakfast items, a true 5 star wonderful breakfast!! The hotel was very, very nice and close to shopping and restaurants in Taos. Will definitely stay there again in the future! Wonderful experience!
Located in quite neighborhood just a few minute drive from Taos Plaza. Very friendly innkeeper who cooks a nice breakfast which varies each day. Late check-in coordinated via text. We had a room assignment issue after hours which was quickly resolved by innkeeper returning. Nice outside common area including fire pit. Room was clean, comfortable, and had a gas fireplace.
The property is absolutely amazing for a getaway. . While still
being close to the Taos Plaza the hotel seems secluded and surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. If available, I recommend getting a room with a fireplace as it adds to the ambiance at night. The daily breakfast is superb and sunsets are incredible.
Although this was the last property within walking distance of Taos, it was absolutely fine. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. This stay was one day after NM opened up for COVID. The hotel did a good job with coping with challenges. Because the dining room had not yet opened due to COVID, they offered us free snacks.
Loved that it feels hidden/removed from the main drag. The inn felt sheltered and quiet—which was great. Beautiful view of Taos Pueblo sacred mountain from back porch of our room. Excellent service. Friendly staff. All-electronic entry was perfect. Room was very clean. Provided plenty of towels. It is a character property.
what a delight! totally surreal, but functional too.
I found hotel Luna mystica on TripAdvisor, wasn’t planning on staying overnight in Taos but couldn’t pass this up. incredibly unique experience to sleep in a very comfortable retro camper. after a day of exploring it was lovely to sit at a campfire and stargaze.
The hotel is old and quirky- full of charm. Our room was in the "courtyard" behind the main building. Our floor was not level. But the room was very spacious & comfortable. We had a real, wood burning fireplace! Dinner at Doc Martin's was excellent. Location in old town is perfect.
Quiet. Clean room; we got a remodeled room. Older property in downtown Taos but they’re making efforts to remodel property. Main drag under construction at this time so traffic leaves a lot to to look forward to. Winter should be nothing to attract one to this area this ski season.
Wow! Super cool spot to stay in Taos. Tucked away off the road, but still just a short walk to yummy food and a grocery store.
Make sure you make time for the breakfast...very good and super cool friendly cook taking care of all the guests.
Lovely, well equipped and comfortable house within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Taos. Very clean, easy to check in and out. Good parking. Nice touch to have some old school computer games etc available. Enjoyed our two night stay.
Great location, easy walk into Taos. Fantastic breakfast. Really appreciated the hospitality and open access to the common room with drinks, snacks, games and local info. The room and bed were so comfortable. Thanks for a great stay.
This was our bone of contention…. everything about the hotel was great except the breakfast. The room was enticing, the food and the service were very, very poor. There was no value for money at all.
Loved this beautiful hotel. Excellent location. Within walking distance to all the Taos sights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay there again!
