Sturgis must come back when they have the biker rally!! Longhorn Steakhouse manager is awesome and food was delicious make sure to go and check them out!!!

Great place to be based in when visiting South Dakota.
Great place to be based in when visiting South Dakota. All parks and reserves are 20-30 minutes drive. Will need own transport to visit Black Hills, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and all the quaint yet fantastic towns. Rapid city has great choices of restaurant. For Asian @ Thai Thai, for local @ Telly’s. Must go Sturgis, Deadwood, Hill City

Mount Rushmore was great to see.
Mount Rushmore was great to see. Badlands were great to see. Wall Drug was fun to visit. The airport was very convenient and efficient. Nearby restaurants were good. The hotel area where we stayed (at another hotel) was convenient.

Mount Rushmore is a wonderful place to visit.
Mount Rushmore is a wonderful place to visit. It has changed a lot since my wife visited here 32 years ago. It now has a museum, open theater and beautiful walks along the rock mountains. It is 30 minutes drive from Rapid City where you can find lot of motels. Driving is scenic to the National Memorial. Head out earlier to avoid traffic, they open at 5AM.
