The cleanliness of the room, the size was one of the largest we have ever stayed in. The jetted tub was amazing after a long drive! Our bed was perfect and slept like a baby.
The breakfast was great, many choices, clean and the staff was accommodating.

We enjoyed our visit to Barstow very much.
We enjoyed our visit to Barstow very much. Exciting to drive a short section of the famous Route 66. The highlight of our visit was the historic Harvey House, which has an amazing and interesting story related to Fred Harvey, who came up with the idea of providing quality places for train-riders to stay and eat beginning in the late 1800’s. This Harvey House is home to three must-see museums/centers: Route 66 Mother Road Museum, Western America Railroad Museum, and NASA Goldstone Deep Space Visitors Center. All are free of charge, but welcome donations. Visiting hours are shorter and some are weekends only. So check before going. A bonus activity is watching the trains passing by, which happens multiple times in an hour.

Barstow was a great stopover for us after having flown to LA from Australia, en route to Las Vegas. It was a pleasant town, easy to walk around, safe, and had a great Route 66 museum for car enthusiasts.
Panda Express was a great takeaway option for a meal.

We were travelling from the Pacific Grove area back to Phoenix. Going thru Barstow was GREAT. Missed all that BS Los Angeles traffic! And the expressways were in decent shape and not too busy! If I ever go back to the SF area I'll use the Barstow route. Stayed at the Quality Inn (a surprisingly good experience.)

The city is full of beautifull wall paintings and things...
The city is full of beautifull wall paintings and things that remind you the historic root 66. Everything was like stuck in the past that gave you the feeling of diving into the history of the city. On the other hand, the city seemed a little abandomed. People walking around were not the friendliest looking I have ever seen...
I liked the friendliness of the staff. The housekeeper is so polite and she is excellent when I was in need of towels and toilet paper and ect. The parking spaces are free and kept very clean. Rock area on premises is full of desert atmosphere and the scenery is actually really pretty at night the lights are great from parking lot or second story looking over Barstow shopping centers. Also the garbage is well kept as it seems to not be fluttering across the place even when windy. I will be referring my friends and family.
This is just what it says, a typical motel style bed for the night. Basic, limited facilities, but you get what you pay for and you know what to expect. The fun part is the collection of old cars and other Route 66 memorabilia which make this motel just a bit more funky than the others in Barstow. It’s nothing special but no complaints.
Room was very clean. Bed was comfy. AC worked very well. Location was great - easy on and off the freeway. Location was across the street from Barstow Station which has multi-vendors for food from MacDonalds to Subway to Panda Express, etc. as well as some general souvenir stores. Gas Station next door to gas up before leaving.
We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were. Fully laminate or tile floors (no carpet) were a huge plus. A remodel of the rooms has happened recently, and they were nice. Bed was super comfy. Dog friendly rooms with a small pet fee. Great breakfast spread (better than most 3-star chain hotels).
Breakfast was fine, it was your classic hotel/motel included meal, eggs, sausages, cereal, pastries. It wasn’t 5 star dining but I think worth it, it was a selling point for me. Plenty of local dining options surrounding the area, very convenient location for highway use as well.
Very modern clean establishment with excellent facilities and team
Located on edge of Barstow close to food and retail outlets
Hotel is virtually new and provides great facilities
The reception team especially Jonathan , Jose and the manager are all first class and friendly
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This included the front desk and housekeeping staff.
The breakfast offering was also very good and offered a lot of choices.
The hotel was very quiet which we really appreciated.
I liked the fact that the hotel was next door to the outlet mall. My granddaughter and I just walked over to shop. It was very convenient. The hotel was very quiet also, considering a very busy freeway is nearby.
Great location, interesting site, outside decorations were really great! The renovated rooms we stayed in were more than acceptable. Just a hotel for sleeping (in my opinion).
The hotel was OK, everything in the the room were working properly with a decent standard american breakfast. Easy parking and access to the 1st floor room.
