Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again.
Amazing. Love it. We’ve been before, and will return again. This time, we stayed at the Voyager Inn, it was okay but not great. Next time, we’ll camp at Straits State Park like we did the first time. We’ve taken Shepler’s Ferry to Mackinac Island both times, and it was great. If you’re bringing your own bikes, it’s cheaper to pay for them to ride the ferry with you than to rent bikes on the island.

Interesting city, lots of history. we find it’s a good place to stay as between the Upper peninsular & Lower Michigan thereby visiting both cities of Mackinaw City & St Ignace and their offerings. Clydes is a great old school hamburger drive in restaurant & across the street is the Truck Stop restaurant with great breakfasts.

You already should have a record all of the communication…it was considerable, with a complete lack of understanding, or sympathy, buck-passing. I admitted I somehow made the error…I started the process IMMEDIATELY….I explained, I implored them, I was willing to pay a penalty, and last, but not least, I will try not to stay at a Quality Inn again. I hope your company never makes simple mistakes…it was in USD, to boot…

We loved Joses cantina for Mexican food - it was busy on a Friday night, but the food was great and had live music. As always the shoreline drive is a sight to see, walking on the beach and exploring the Tahquamenon Falls is great for a drive.

This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago.
This town used to have a lot more to offer 35 years ago. Former governor deeply hurt the state years ago and the tourism and a lot of people were forced to leave the state to look for work. The present Governor is continuing to destroy the state and the tourism industry. There's a lot of former great shops and tourists attractions in this town that have closed up over the years. St ignace has the better motels and Mackinaw city has better shops and attractions.

The prices seemed much better in St.
The prices seemed much better in St. Ignace than they were south of the bridge in Mackinaw City. Breakers was a steal for the price and the staff service was excellent. Please note that if you struggle with stairs, this resort will be challenging for you. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.
This Motel is absolutely spotless. Not a piece of dust on the floorboards not a water spot on the sink. We've stayed in lots of motels all over....the persons cleaning this motel are exceptional. Check in and out was fast. Bed was comfy. Good location to ferry docks if you're visiting the Island and owner sells discounted tickets. A cute UP Motel, well taken care of.
- Great location!
- Clean rooms but could use upgrades
- Helpful staff (they switched our room after requesting one with windows since ours only had a door to the balcony and we have small children)
- Heated Pool
- Pet friendly
- Nice field and seating for leisure time (low foliage/fence by the road would be nice)
The room was perfect, clean and warm. The pool was fantastic 🤩 this is my favorite hotel when I visit the upper peninsula. I will definitely come back again. I forgot to mention the breakfast 🥞 it was delicious and good choices. Thank you so much!
We always stay at this hotel when we travel to the UP. It is a unique little hotel. The owners go above and beyond. The room themes are well thought out, clean, massage chairs are relaxing. My husband likes the shuttle to the casino.
The care and attention that goes into the running of this hotel are clearly evident. I found the room delightful and comfortable. Enjoyed chatting wit7h the innkeeper at check-in and receiving dining recommendations.
This property is directly across the road from Lake Michigan and set on a small hill. The view was beautiful! The man and wife that owned the place were as nice as can be. They are very close to Sheplers Ferry!
The view and location were excellent and the staff very very nice and helpful. Should we ever come back to St Ignace, we would definitely stay at your hotel.
Cute "old-school" hotel. The campfire was a nice touch for people who want to use it. There are multiple buildings for rooms, some are newer than others.
