we liked the historic hotel, the location, enjoyed talking with staff person, code check in and out convenient, self serve linen closet was convenient, loved the sheets, comfy bed and pillows, room was remodeled nicely and kept in style with the period, coffee shop coupons were good idea. We know it takes a lot to upgrade a historic property and keep it personal not corporate.

If you like history, you’ll love this town! It’s charming.
If you like history, you’ll love this town! It’s charming. Want to go to a winery you’ll find them all close by. If want good food you’ll find it. If you like the outdoors and you want to hike or explore the river you’ll find it. The Good Bean has delicious breakfast and the coffee is outstanding. Dinner at the Bella Union is an old favorite. Pizza is great. Pasta is pretty darn good. The outdoor patio is wonderful.

Jacksonville is a lovely town to walk through with great history and restored buildings. It's quiet in the off season and when the weather is good there are many outdoor activities and music festivals to enjoy.

The best part of my stay, this time, I was sitting in my car at the park on East F St having my coffee and breakfast from Pony Espresso and watching 4 does with their fawns playing in the yard across the creek. They were running and hopping around. One mom and baby were even playing hide and seek. What a wonderful site and a wonderful start of a day!
To end my previous day I ate at Back Porch BBQ. I've eaten there many times and you do not leave hungry and the food is great. Be sure to leave room for desserts.
I'm not a Britt person so I like to be in Jacksonville during off season and go driving on the back roads out of J'ville. There are some gorgeous areas to see and experience.

Jacksonville is great alternative to staying in Ashland.
Jacksonville is great alternative to staying in Ashland. It’s smaller and quieter, and not too far away. There is a good bar-b-q place there, and the Britt Festival, a small dog park, and hiking around the Britt amphitheater.

A charming town about 15 minutes from Grant's Pass and a good alternative to that town. The BackPoarch is a great venue for meat-eaters; the ribs fell off the bone and were among the best I have ever eaten. It is about three blocks from where we stayed.

The most beautiful part of Jacksonville is Applegate Community Church, such a special, beautiful, anointed campus, such a beautiful morning for us. We can't wait to come back in the spring and summer and be blessed again.
The room was immaculate. Room was recently updated, no carpet which I love. Large room, had 2 queen beds had a room at back of property, very quiet. Though all streets are pretty quiet at night in Jacksonville, it is a small town. The employees were all very friendly and competent. Let us know right off if we had any problems to let them know with 24 hour number. Breakfast was typical fruit, muffins, yogurt, cereal with locally roasted and excellent coffee. Grocery store and great breakfast place in short walking distance.

A wonderful place.
This was such an awesome place to stay! Right in downtown Jacksonville, a close walk to excellent dinner and shopping in the evening, and coffee in the morning. A park a block away, too. The room had every possible amenity, a very comfortable bed, lots of natural light and beautifully decorated. A great desk and office chair to spend the morning working before heading to meetings elsewhere.

Jacksonville is a nice little town where you see deer strolling in the streets in the evening when you go for a walk :-) The Inn was very nice, clean and comfy with nice breakfast selection in the morning and tables and chairs outside to enjoy your coffee while getting some fresh air.
This was a business trip and I chose Jacksonville as I wanted to treat myself to a beautiful place since I had to work. The suite that I stayed was comfortable. And this time of year the traffic is quiet. I used to live near Jacksonville and know the traffic especially during Britt.
I had several out of the ordinary circumstances and they went out of their way to help me.
I would recommend them unconditionally and look forward to staying there again.
Thank you Wonderful staff at Wine Country Inn!!!
The location is great. Close to Medford but quite and very much a small town feel. The room was comfortable and well decorated. Room was spacious and had good amenities. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
