Quincy has a lot of shopping areas and also there is quite a variety of places to eat. It also has a small airport that people use to fly in & out. It has a top notch hospital that can handle any & all emergencies.

I like the feel of the old downtown city square and the sights along the river. Too bad it isn't better developed for tourists and sight seers. Almost all the commercial and retail has fled east to the big busy business strip.

I enjoyed my 3 night stay at Stoney Creek , the staff was very friendly and accomodating. The surrounding area of shops, eateries, and other businesses were conveniently located. It was very easy to get around in Quincy and back to Stoney Creek.

My wife and I grew up in the Quincy area and every time we are back in the area, we try to get back to Quincy. The town is recovering from years of hardship but we can see the improvements that the elected officials are doing to improve the town, especially in the hard-hit areas of town.

After a long and troubling trip, my nephews (4) and my niece (1) plus brother-in-law were very tired and not in a good mood. We check-in first and plus took a look at the rooms to be sure it was clean and also the bathrooms. Since it was our first time at Quincy Inn and glad shopping was available in the area. My nephew was able to get all his college stuff from Walmart to start his journey at Quincy University. Thank god!

The Washington Square area in historic Quincy is remarkable.
The Washington Square area in historic Quincy is remarkable. Great buildings, charming stores, wonderful character. Most shops are closed on Sundays, so if you’re going for a weekend, plan on a Saturday visit.
The Atrium is a beautiful hotel, each of the staff members we spoke with were helpful and pleasant. The rooms were lovely and clean, and the bathrooms in the rooms were spacious. I appreciated the nice open spaces in the lobby to gather as a family. The hot breakfast was great, the second morning it was unavailable due to staffing but the grab and go options were better than expected. They have a lovely pool too! The location is so close to the downtown square, we enjoyed the Quincy Heritage Museum and the many shops.
The staff didn’t stay up hold with the breakfast we and other customers had to go and tell them what they were out of. That’s something I didn’t like because the hotel staff should always know and replace.
The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. The location is great, it is close to stores and restaurants. I visit family in Quincy and the AmericInn was a better than other hotels nearby.
We had a family gathering in Quincy and this property offered a beautiful, spacious, inviting atmosphere. Great views along the Mississippi River. Nice screened in patio area with scenic views.
