Perfect location because it’s very close to shopping and stores. Also it’s right off the highway. My stay was very pleasant. No distractions by other people. The room was clean. The pillows were very comfortable, as well as the bed. The staff were very pleasant to me. They were very nice and helpful. They are also very welcoming to their guests and made me feel comfortable to stay there.

First they gave us someone named Laura room with one bed. They said booking.com did not inform them of the two rooms one with king bed and the other with two double beds. Then we were offered to separate rooms but because we wanted to stay together we stay in the room with one king bed one double because it had a sleep sofa.
Clean room with all amenities AND at a budget price .
Clean room with all amenities AND at a budget price .Off street parking with a modicum of security surveillance . Friendly desk clerk , obviously an owner . Reading on in this survey I must admit to having NOT visited or done any of the points in Question 4 and Q 6
Calling the place Newcastle is somewhat misleading since the Superlodge is actually in a south extension of WILMINGTON, which is closer than Newcastle .
I stayed here BECAUSE OF THE MOTEL SUPERLODGE .
Knowing the existence of and actual location of the" Dutch House "
might have induced me to look it up though.
Getting around the Wilmington area was quite simple and straightforward because I travel with NO PLANNED or required route .
I am not going anywhere in particular so it is impossible to get lost . After the overnight in Superlodge I made a point of following the US13Business route all the way into Philadelphia city center . It took something like four hours which was fine by me as I wanted to see the locale through all the new and old 'burbs and industrial zones as they might come . Urban study , if you will.

So many things wrong… The side entrance which we use was supposed to be open only by key access, but it was open to everybody… Unlocked. When we got to the room there was a large hole in the bathroom wall and claw marks all over the door obviously done by a dog trying to get out. The electrical outlet cover was off which is very Unsafe. There was no bulb in the reading lamp. There is a large golf ball ball size hole in the arm chair. The small coffee pot was not working. And worst of all, when I tried to slide the shower doors the whole assembly completely fell apart, which was very very dangerous.… The top of the ensembly was held on the wall with just old caulking. It wasn’t screwed in at all. It looked like the caulking was years old. As soon as I started to slide the doors the whole thing fell apart. One door came close to hitting my head while the other door fell in toward the tub. This was possibly the worst experience of my life in a hotel room.

The time spent was too short to get a sense of the place. What I did observe it prove to be interesting. Would like to have gotten some sightseeing in, but the weather was too bad for me to venture out in.

It was clean in the room but evident that people lived there full time and the smell of pot in the hallways was really unacceptable. I'm not a pot smoker but it was really strong and guest don't want to pay for a nights rest to open the door to marijuana smoke

I was okay.
I was okay. Didnt have to put up with noise and loud neighbors. I sleeps on a recliner at my daughter s because I dont have my own place yet. So when I come there its to lay my body down and rest. Disability dont pay much but I deserve to rest. So before I start back to work soon I will take my vacation there
Awesome staff
Checked into standard room, smelled like someone was literally smoking a cigarette as i walked in, called front desk she moved me to new upgraded suite for Trouble. Room was so clean, when i checked in a couple week later i stayed in standard room and it was still one of the nicer hotels id stayed at.
Continental breakfast was advertised; however, what was offered was coffee and juice. The coffee was cold. The hotel clerk said to put a styrofoam cup in the microwave to heat it. When I said the cup would melt, he told me to make coffee in my room. When he came out into the open area, he was in his barefeet.
I didn't like anything about the hotel it was disgusting people hanging in front of it smoking weed smoking in the hallway when I got to the room the room was horrible blood on it pillowcase the light didn't work gloves the bathroom have mold on the tub and it was only one washcloth with human feces on it
The hotel looked sketchy, there was an event the night I arrived but I only heard it from the hallway which was great. I booked a room on line at a set price but when I arrived, they didn't have that room and charged me additional monies to book a different room.
The size of the room was great. It was clean and the staff was courteous. It was nice to have housekeeping check on me during my stay. Also the wifi worked! I will stay here again.
room was fine but a bit sparse. Location was good the gym looked to be fantastic and the hotel itself was new bright and cheerful. Front desk clerk was very nice.
We weren’t there long…two weary travelers just needing some sleep before continuing our trip. The hotel itself was lovely. Clean, great bed, perfect facilities.
I have a story to tell. Proper name would be a nicotine hotel. Definitely bad for health to stay there.
But the necotine walls, towels is not the worst.
