I was concerned with all the little league kids and Prom that same weekend, we would be kept awake by noise. I expressed my concern to the desk and they gave us a room on the top floor toward the end. We heard nothing all night. Great sleep.

The property made a great first impression! This isn’t your grandma’s La Quinta! They have really stepped up their game. The building looks great, the front desk staff absolutely stellar and the rooms were super clean and very comfortable.

Awesome town to visit with plenty to do. Excellent restraunts to eat at. Sonic was the best. Plenty of stores to visit. Majority of the people are friendly and helpful. The enconolodge hotel needs to take lessons from the public on friendliness

The first time I visited Kearney was a few years ago during the sandhill crane migration. It was awesome! And I think that is the biggest draw for the town. The other one is the Great Platte River Road Archway. I'm glad I visited this museum/monument this time around (October 2021) because it's fantastic! I learned quite a number of historical facts (like the experiences of those people who migrated west during the Great Migration, the origin of the term "Fortyniners", and about the historic Lincoln Highway). And the exhibits are phenomenal in my opinion. I mean, what a way to impress visitors going up via the escalator going "through" that movie frame. It was definitely eye-catching. Didn't travel about Kearney much. Some sight seeing and supper. Researching Kearney it is a wealth of history and things to do. If one had the tme to stay and explore. This stay was to rest after day one of a three day l road trip.for a funeral
