It is about 5 minutes to Graton Resort and Casino, close to wineries and restaurants. It was clean, quiet, very friendly staff and reasonably priced. It seems to be a smooth transition from being a Cambria Hotel to now under Hilton ownership.

Granted, we came in the off season, so we knew we weren’t going to get the full experience and we’d like to come back at some point. The bakery across the street had coffee and great pastries. The General Store is beautiful! The family who first owned it bought it back in 2021 and they’ve done an incredible job making it stocked with things you might need for your travels and lots of cute things to bring back as souvenirs.

    Tomales is very quiet.

Tomales is very quiet. There's not much to do there because it has only two hotel/inns, a small but well-stocked store, two cafes, and a restaurant that appears to be open primarily for dinner. This is not a place for people who want a lot of action. It was ideal for us to just get away to a quiet place. Dillon Beach, Bodega Bay, and Pt. Reyes station are scenic drives during the day, but I would advise against drinking too much before driving the winding roads back to Tomales.

The room was very nice, clean and the bed was comfortable. The bakery (Route 1 Bakery) across the street was amazing. The breakfast items and coffee were excellent. We purchased bread and other things to take home. This bakery is well worth the stop if you are just passing through Tomales. We ate dinner at the William Tell House Saloon. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. They have a great outdoor setup for eating.

Location - not too far from Dillon beach and Point Reyes. Rustic and historic vive. Quietness. Perhaps we were the only one staging there? We also stayed when the salon/restaurant downstairs wasn’t open. I wish we tried their food! No contact check in was nice yet I was able to reach the inn keeper via the phone right away. Good complementary tea selection.

Gorgeous hotel, wonderful location, cozy rooms! The town is charming and beautiful and central to so many amazing places. We went on hikes, ate delicious baked goods from across the street, and discovered a meadery in Point Reyes that was a ton of fun.

Minimum prestation as expected in Covid time. The room was comfy and the bedding excellent. Great location between Tomales Bay and Bodega, at half the price of equal lodging there. Veronika is an attentive host and does make a difference.

Wonderful old Victorian house in "downtown" Tomales -- great location. No breakfast (only coffee -- not really a "B&B").
