I wanted to leave an honest review even though our trip had a few hiccups. So the hotel is great, it’s beautiful. The location is great. But the staff lost my key to my car which caused many headaches. The valet driver actually drove us to where we needed to be which was great. Wasn’t upset that they lost my key. It was that management did nothing. They never offered to help in anyway. The valet staff apologized several times and as I told them, it happens, I wasn’t upset. It was when I went to the front desk the staff there seemed like you were an inconvenience.

I was only there for part of the day and I explored the Taft Museum/National Park. It was very interesting and there is a lot of information on President Taft. The house is in great shape but does have a lot of steps, however there is also a hidden elevator. Just tell your guide about your mobility issues. I had plans to see the zoo but it was 35 degrees with snow flurries the next day. So I opted for the Creation Museum; it has really grown since my last visit! It is awesome.

Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts.
Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts. There is a great art and food scene, and plenty to do and enjoy. Transit is not particularly difficult and parking is difficult but available, and pricy.
The problem with Cincinnati is the level of crime and drug use throughout the city. One can't walk 100 yards without smelling marijuana and the promlems of poverty and homelessness are continuously evident. The good and bad parts are common to most cities. Oddly right across the river in Newport Kentucky the crime, drugs, etc. Seem basically non-existent. The Newport Aquarium and Hoffbrau Haus were great.

We came away with a much greater appreciation for the city of Cincinnati and Ohio in general. We appreciated amazing food, art deco architecture, art, and science in the city. The zoo is so much more than just Fiona. The animal enclosures are well-designed to provide a reasonable experience for the animals and great viewing for guests. The Cincinnati Museum Center and American Sign Museum were fun too.

Was in for a conference so didn't really have time to spend sight-seeing downtown. From what I could observe, downtown area has a number of closed businesses downtown and lots of constructions which made driving somewhat challenging.

Cincinnati is a great walking city.
Cincinnati is a great walking city. We were there for a couple of Reds games and as a home base to go visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. We enjoyed an outdoor concert in Fountain Square at night and it was great.
Location was great- we visited to go to a Cincinnati Reds Baseball game and the Westin wasn’t far from the stadium! We went to a day and a night game and I never felt unsafe on the walk back to the room. It was a short and easy walk. These is a parking garage directly under the Westin, it’s not a in and out parking you have to pay everytime you leave.. the front desk ppl were very nice. There is a “restaurant” breakfast in the lobby (not free) it was so so… the hotel was clean
The two innkeepers were welcoming, friendly, and extreme helpful. My husband needed a room to work in for a couple of hours and he was able to use one in the back. We had The Bach Room and it was cozy, quiet and the bed very comfortable. There were plenty of towels that were new and fluffy. Their was a Nespresso machine and a mini fridge in the room also! We were able to walk or catch an Uber very easily. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again!
Love the hotel love the setting and where it was place downtown that was the whole point of me running the room during the stay and during the football game so by time the football game was done and over and I decided to check in for my room my room was given away and they had to accommodate and send me to another hotel which they sent me to the summit so that was very very disappointing
The employees (Ms. Pat and Vivian) were so friendly and personable! The room was super clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn’t get up in time for breakfast but grabbed coffees on the way out. Loved that the hotel/parking lot was off a side street so it was super easy to get in/out. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!! ❤️😊
I like that when I arrived I was able to go to my room. And the map provided with nearby stores, restaurants and museums was stellar.
I loved the hotel's decor. I also like the fact you needed your room key to activate the elevator which provided me with a sense of security as a single woman traveling alone.
We stay here frequently because our son has medical appointments at the University of Cincinnati. I enjoyed it more before the remodel, back when it was still Marriott. However, the new look has a lot of fun things to see! The room is VERY colorful. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly.
This place was amazing. I travel for work alone and this time i brought my family. When i tell u the hotel was clean, rooms huge, staff was amazing AT ALL TIMES!! I will definitely be staying here again!! I've been to many hotels in Ohio but this one takes the cake!!!
The property is located close to the mall and good access to the interstate, the only good thing about the place are the staff , honestly if the staff on the front desk didn’t try to put at least a few thinks right I would have moved to another hotel
very nice and clean made different from any other hotel I have been in I like that they have the dishes stove it the room can go for apartment fr lol and that it’s the first black own hotel in Cincinnati I recommend this hotel to anybody
The room sure seemed updated. The common areas could have been nicer. Yes in a somewhat rough part of town, but never felt unsafe. Would stay again if I needed to be close to downtown Cincinnati but not spend an arm and a leg.
Very cool, huge apartment!
Great location in the heart of Cincinnati.
Parking garage and Italian restaurant right opposite the apartment house.
The bed is actually quite comfortable - better than it looks at first!
I have stayed downtown Cincy for years and for some reason never realized there was even a holiday inn. It was such a nice hotel, with amazing staff, clean, comfortable with the best beds!!! Very impressed
By far one of the best Hotels ive stayed at. Very up to date with , tech and appliances, hotel room beautiful, everything is as bright and clean as it is in the pictures. will come again.
The entire hotel from the lobby to the room was spectacular. The room design and decor was so beautiful it was first class. If you are in this area you have to stay here.
I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the updated-ness of the rooms. Nothing was out of place or broken my overall experience for my personal getaway was great!
There was a bus stop in front of the hotel, which was great for me, since I was traveling without a car.
Staff was friendly and breakfast was pretty good.
