I love the heated pool and hot tub! They offer us bikes to use, games, and great service! They had discounts for rides and mini golf next door. I was surprised that if we wanted to wash/dry our clothes. We could have. I never experienced that. We did not use it due to our use of certain detergent but did use dryer after the pool for our towels.

There is so much to do at wildwood. The beach is beautiful the boardwalk is so much fun and entertaining, food is great, streets are quiet at night and evening is pretty respectful. The city play parks are really nice and the area is clean. Just a great place all around. There really is not one thing I dislike when I visit wildwood.

We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY.
We checked in on Monday, LABOR DAY. We were very disappointed how many places were already closed or closed wayyyyyy earlier than the advertised time. BARS INCLUDED, some before 11 PM. I was very surprised.
We did eat at the Surfing Pig and that was great, then headed to the The Lazy Bass for a night cap. Nice outside bar on the water with live music and very friendly staff! We would definitely go back to both places again!

Beach, boardwalk and bars.
Beach, boardwalk and bars. If you like that sort of thing, this is the place for you. Other activities on the island can get a little expensive but that is expected from a tourist town. Props to the people at Wildwood Waverunners and the Thundercat dolpin watch. Always a great time. I usually to to get down there right before Labor day when a lot of the Shoobies go back home because of school starting.

We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood.
We drove over 10 hours from Toronto to get to Wildwood. It was our first time and we were all very pleased with our vacation. Wildwood is a great family holiday - good for multi-generational families who have grandparents and kids travelling together. Lots of opportunities to make good memories. Great for small children as well as teens.
Some of the restaurants in the area were expensive, but if you plan properly, some meals could be made in advance (picnic lunch at the beach or breakfast at the hotel). Most of the coffee in the area were really good. The boardwalk is great for walking or biking, even sitting and just people watching. Lots of opportunity for shopping - souvenir t-shirts and hoodies can be found every where, so take your time to pick out what colours and logos you would like on yours.
Highly recommend pizza from Founder's Grub & Pub, Polish ice water and ice cream and Quincey's original lobster rolls - amazing! Captain Jack has a drink special every night and discounted food between 4 and 6pm daily.
For a great inexpensive breakfast, head over to Alex's Pizzeria & Pancake house. Avoid Ravioli House - they are very expensive and quality was okay (good but not for the price).
Acme grocery store is less than 5 mins away and they have a great chicken deal at the hot food counter. The local liquor stores were pricey so you may want to bring some wine bottles along with you. But very convenient to walk to pick up beers for the hotel patio (for the quiet evening in).
The beaches are very safe in Wildwood and North Wildwood. Cape May is beautiful and well worth the drive to see for the day, but you have to pay to access the beach and the water was more rough. Be ready to drive around for 15+ mins to find paid parking.

This is one of my favorite family vacation spots!!
This is one of my favorite family vacation spots!! Our hotel (Hotel Cabana) was awful, but Wildwood itself is just fantastic! Tons of good eats, lots of fun things to do like water parks, Moreys Pier, shopping etc.
The location is perfect!!!.. very very clean the staff were very friendly and courteous the view on the rooftop with pool of the boardwalk is very nice, the room was equipt with all the essentials. It was perfect for my husband and i since you’re going to spend most of your time on the beach or boardwalk. They thought of EVERYTHING in this hotel since they even have a bathroom in the garage before departing, and a water faucet to get rid of the sand before entering motel.
The room had all of the amenities promised and we were able to park in the shade. Prime location across from an ice cream shop and one block (about 5min walk) to the boardwalk, beach, and wildwood sign. Extremely convenient for sunrise and sunset walks on the beach. Pool is nice and room is clean, though smallish. High cost but I think that’s typical due to the high demand in this tourist town and the location is worth it.
The pools were very nice. This hotel/motel was about the same standard as others in this neighborhood. The beach was ok, but the walk from the boardwalk to the water on the beach was toooooo far. Not worth going to the water for ( in my opinion). I doubt if I'll beach it in Wildwood again in the future
Staff was friendly and helpful, Mike, the owner was great. Room was super clean and well stocked with everything we could need. Comfy bed. Nice pool and deck. Close to Boardwalk, but a good hike to the shoreline, of course this is Wildwood,so the beach is a mile wide here!! We would definitely come back!!
I lived how clean the manager kept it. He worked along side his house keepers making sure everything was clean. He was friendly and courteous. The motel was 1 block from the boardwalk. Dunkin donuts was on the boardwalk near the hotel. That was a plus.
It was close to the Wildwood convention Center , yet the room was disgusting there was a used bandage and food all scattered on the floor. Also, it looked like the linens were never cleaned. We walked in and out and then went to a different hotel.
The room was very clean and comfortable. It was very close to the beach/boardwalk with a convenient entrance and exit. Environment felt safe and inviting but not stuffy . Hotel was extremely quiet minus the noise of the Fridge/Air conditioner.
The hotel is super close to the beach and boardwalk (across the street). This is also one of the only hotels in the area that accepts guests that are 18 years old. Great hotel to spend a few nights with friends. Clean and comfortable.
We were very close to the boardwalk and all the great restaurants in the area. Check-in was very easy and the owner was super nice whenever we saw her. The kitchenette was great — I always appreciate a full-sized fridge.
Everything. Owners are nice! Pool is always clean. No parking issues like I've experienced at other hotels in wildwood. Nice view of the beach from our room. Room 19. 2nd time here and won't be the last!
I liked that the room I upgraded to had a hot tub & a nice sunset view. I like the hotel also has an indoor pool, gym, steam room & hot tubs plus a restaurant & bar with live entertainment
