Beautiful city, most of it. The college was fantastic! Would, and have, stayed again…. and again. Just about any food place you can think of, shopping was fun and just a few hours from ocean. Old plantations and historic sites to visit. Many hotels to pick from.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0

I made this trip to look at real estate in the area the parts of Anderson I saw were fine I was a little lost on my way there arriving late at night called the front desk Unfortunately they did not know the exit for their facility was exit 19 I would think something like that would be common knowledge to anyone working there

We came to Anderson to do genealogy research at the city...
We came to Anderson to do genealogy research at the city library. The staff were friendly and helpful. After a restful night at the Holiday Inn, we set out to find nearby quilt shops. A Google search sent us to Quilts of Valor. Oops, not a store but a quilt guild meeting location. Two wonderful ladies referred us to quilt shops in the area but most importantly they told us about a genealogy research center in Anderson where three volunteers went out of their way to help.
