Lovely villa with complete amenities with a really hospitable team. We checked in late and they prepared a cheese spread for us to have for dinner in the room.

Fell in love with the location and I want to go back. Sad to leave, but all good things with a vacation come to an end. I am glad I stayed central to the town. Loved the local art gallery and artist there.

Beautiful tiny city in a short ride to Yosemite, amazing and friendly locals always ready to help. don't forget to bring the chains if you travel to Yosemite. Stores in the area could be short of tire chains of the price won't make you happy.

Oakhurst is just 16 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite. That entrance is closest to the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees. The Valley and waterfalls are another 45 minute drive. Oakhurst has a great selection of restaurants, antique stores and friendly people. The selection of rooms is less expensive and easier to book than Yosemite. During the season, there is also YARTS bus system taking visitors to Yosemite (there is a fee). This makes it easier so you don't have to fight traffic, search for parking or have a park reservation.

We found Oakhurst to be a friendly town whether in local restaurants, visitor center, drug stores, and grocery stores. Oakhurst has a quaint, small town feel to it. Close to Yosemite activities and Yosemite National Park.

The place was not quiet.
The place was not quiet. On the second night there were people next door and I could almost hear them breathe. Plus I booked two nights based on the "reduced rate" of $79 but was then billed for extras. I would not have booked this had the cost been up front. Shame on Booking.com for not being transparent. When I complained to Booking.com I was told there was no refund. I wont book either of them again.

The hotel is clean and you can walk to restaurants and other facilities nearby.Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Oakhurst...we're stayed here and the breakfast was simple but delicious and the coffee was good too. There are several delicious restaurants nearby where you can have dinner.
30 minutes from the hotel to the national park entrance
It takes about 1 hour and 20" from the entrance to the center of the national park.
Arriving by motorcycle, our special request was for the downstairs room so we could easily unload our luggage and keep an eye on our bikes. This request was granted and we were very pleased to be able to use the nice swimming pool because it was an extremely hot day in Oakhurst. The hotel is conveniently located next to a Denny’s restaurant which allowed us to have a nice breakfast before heading out on our ride, because unfortunately due to the pandemic the hotel no longer served a continental breakfast.
If you are looking for somewhere close to Yosemite to stay, this is it!! I was in constant contact with them before our trip and they responded to any of my questions within 24 hours, usually the same day. Very polite at check-in, gave us great information about the town upon arrival. Rooms are very spacious, comfortable and unique. The kind of service and rooms you don't get at chain hotels. Easily stay here again!!
This is a very tiny cottage, or a hut. It has everything you need except for space for your personal belongings. It is relatively close to the Yosemite park and it is both quiet and yet close to the road. It is within a short drive to the Oakhurst town. It was clean, private, with fully equipped kitchenet. We enjoy our time there and would definitely recommend the place.
We loved our stay at Oakhurst Inn. It is close enough to Yosemite, but still has many options for shopping and dinning. We ate at the bbq smokehouse down the street and it was amazing! We booked the family suite, the room was clean l, the rooms were spacious and the value was well worth it! We will be visiting again!
The room was large, clean and comfortable, (including the bed). I would have preferred a room with no carpet, like the picture I saw, but I understand the hotel is probably in the middle of upgrading and the room I stayed in will be upgraded soon. If I go to Oakhurst in the future, I will likely stay here again.
Really nice hotel. Rooms were big and comfy. Was nice to have the sauna and steam room to come back too. The guy that checked us in was helpful and polite.
Was between 1hr10-1hr40 to get to Yosemite depending on which route you took. But both drives were stunning.
The decaf coffee at breakfast!
Better looking than most motel 6 by far. Beds were on the noisy side. Shower stall retained the water no shower head but lots of water pressure so. I didn't pay top dollar yet this place didn't look like a cheap rundown hotel. The look was that of a studio. Very nice place to stay at.
The Villa is fantastic and ideal for a family. Near to the town of Oakhurst to get provisions. We spent our evenings looking at the stars and drinking wine! If California was on the doorstep to us as is France we would definitely return here for a longer break.
The scenery at the location was great. The proximity to Yosemite's south entrance and eateries at Oakhurst was excellent too. The continental breakfast was tasty and and an energetic start to the day. Wifi and other facilities including coffee were good too.
The property was great with great facilities and the staff were great. The rooms were extremely dark , not enough blankets, no kettle in the room to make tea and the floor was not clean. And I didn’t realise the hotel allows pets hence it didn’t feel clean.
This hotel was lovey, we were in a quiet room around the back. It was clean and had two beds, very comfortable.
Breakfast was very good as was the pool. Welcome after a long day at Yosemite.
Good location, lots of restaurants nearby.
The hotel has a good location. Aprox 25 minutes from Yosemite's entrance and an hour away from Yosemite Valley. There are supermarkets, gas stations and restaurants near by too. It has a nice pool.
It was a nice location. We liked the town of Oakhurst, it had all the amenities you could want. After a snowstorm, a local gentleman checked on us to see if we needed help getting our car out.
this was a last minute reservation and the hotel seems like recently build. it was clean and breakfast was variable! we liked it! close to Yosemite south entrance!
The hosts were very nice and hospitable, and the location was great, 10' drive to Oakhurst and 15' drive to the South gate of Yosemite. The room was cozy.
