The room was perfect. Everything was comfortable and the breakfast was really good. The position, just close to the forest but also not far from the town was really good. Very nice place if compared to other hotels of the same category.

William of course is a great little town or access to the Grand Canyon and of course the railway station for a train trip into the Grand Canyon. Plenty of eateries, taverns and gift stores. Real close to bearizona and(don't forget to check the Internet for discounts).

The Grand Canyon Train was a great excursion and would recommend it to anyone interested in visiting the Grand Canyon area from the south rim, but I would DEFINITELY DISUADE everyone from lodging at that property.
I personally would NEVER, EVER stay at that hotel again so long as I am breathing.
I hope you can garner my(our) extreme dissatisfaction with this property in particular.

This quiet and quirky town is loacted an hour from the South Rim Trail of the Grand Canyon.
We stayed at the Highlander Motel which is only a short distance walk to some great local resturants and bars, gas stations and grocery stores.
We ate at the Cruiser's Route 66 Cafe, I highly rate the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwhich and the atomosphere was that of a true diner.
The locals are great and I hope any one who vists, enjoys Williams as much as I did!

Friendly staff and cute property with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Super accommodating and easy to find with attractions and places to eat within a 3 to 15 minutes drive depending on which business you chose to visit. It is also about an hours (1hr) drive away from the Grand Canyon. Was a relaxing and fun experience.

Williams is a great little historic town A lot of great eating options and the gateway to the Grand Canyon. The pizza place/brewery is great and the Pine Breakfast Restaurant is amazing. The Route 66 Diner has great service but the food is meh. I wish we had more time to spend in actual Williams and walk around to all of the fun shops!

Williams is a quaint little town but still has plenty to do and great food! Bearizona is always a must and right up the street, and there’s also the coaster and shooting range for fun entertainment. It’s also a great location for many beautiful Poot ions within driving range from the Grand Canyon to Sedona, Jerome, and Flagstaff.
This was my favourite accommodation on our 2 week US trip. The staff were so friendly, and this was also the only stop on our trip with a proper breakfast provision, which was lovely. The room was really nice, very comfortable and conveniently separated for a family of 4 with 2 older teens. The bathroom was large enough. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Williams is a lovely town with loads of Route 66 memorabilia. Highly recommended for a trip to the Grand Canyon which is just an hour away. Recommend Bearzonia too!
Everyone there was friendly and efficient. We were informed at check in of the COVID restrictions and policies. We did not hear any noise from adjoining rooms or hallway. Buffet breakfast next door at the Fred Harvey Restaurant was plentiful & delicious. The hotel is right next to the train station. The train makes 2 trips to the Grand Canyon daily. The hotel lobby still has 1890's ambiance, but the rooms are modern and comfortable. The little town of Williams is on Route 66 & plays that up.
Great little mom n pop type hotel. Don't be put off by the fact that it's not a chain. It is very clean and professionally run. I had read good reviews about the place and took a chance, and I'm glad I did. It's nothing fancy...pretty basic...but totally a great place to crash while visiting Williams and surrounding area. Would definitely stay there again. Also, Williams was a very nice surprise....there is a lot more to this little town than we expected! :)
Great location! On main street of Williams. Super short drive or short walk into town. Next to dollar store for snacks, food, beverages and essentials. Nice grocery store down the street. Close to the great restaurants and quaint shops. Staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and very safe facilities. Coffee, tea and breakfast to go items available in the lobby. My second stay at this hotel when visiting the Grand Canyon and the surrounding area.
What a charming little hotel in the most charming town of Williams along the route 66. We were pleasantly surprised by the pool and jacuzzi. Reception staff was friendly. There was also a grocery store next to the hotel with excellent prices. The Grand Canyon railway station is just across the road and all facilities of the town are within a short walking distance.
Wonderful experience at the Grand Canyon Hotel. It was so great to stay in a historical building that captured all of the charm and history of long ago. The owner was so nice and caring, and I really appreciated all the thought that went into the hotel to make it a nice stay. If I am ever in Northern Arizona, I am 100% staying here again!
We loved the location of the property. We could walk to everything in Williams. The front desk told us about the town and an old west show we wouldn’t have known about otherwise. We are on a retro Route 66 road trip, so we have been staying in original hotels. This one was a great find - extremely clean and great value!
5 minute walk to the Grand Canyon railroad station and downtown Williams. Despite the place being dated the shower was redone and worked well. I had a room in the back of the hotel, away from the road, so it was very quiet. I have no real complaints because the price was right.
Free parking lot, wide spacious room, deeply renovated.
It was very quiet, ideal for sleeping. It is in the outskirts of Williams, a very important town on Route 66 and that makes it perfect for resting too.
The room has all the necessary things to spend a night or two.
- The hotel is opened for just 5 months ago.
- It’s a really new and clean hotel.
- The location is good, there’re many restaurants nearby.
- The staffs are really lovely and helpful.
- Breakfast is wonderful.
- The room is big.
The location is just an hour drive to the Grand Canyon.
Williams is a cute town with good selection of diners.
The bed was very comfortable.
The hotel looks good from the outside - good parking, good looking lobby and shared spaces.
We selected the Hotel because it was part of a package to visit the Grand Canyon. It was well situated for the station and local restaurants. The room was quiet. The railway trip and Grand Canyon eclipsed the hotel's shortcomings.
Better location and much cheaper than Flagstaff if you're going to Grand Canyon. Clean and simple rooms with everything you actually need. Good coffee in the morning. Who wants hotel breakfast anyway, restaurants nearby are great
Breakfast was good for a US hotel (in Europe if would be considered poor for this hotel category). Parking is easy and parking lot has a lot of space. Good location for visiting Grand Canyon National Park.
Our the best stay in US, very big room, clean and fresh, they offer morning coffee/tea, absolutely helpful and nice staff, great contact. Also Williams is very nice place focused on route 66 history
Williams is a lovely location to stay on Route 66, plenty to see and do. The Inn was clean, plenty of towels, coffee maker, fridge in room. Plenty of free parking also. Breakfast included and wifi.
The location of the hotel was only a short safe walk into Williams and was easily located just of the highway. There was the option to have breakfast in the hotel at a fair price.
