Beautiful spot in front of a small bay of the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is relatively small with comfortable rooms and a beautiful garden. Mr. Darsun Demirtas, owner and manager, is super nice and so is the staff.

Turunc is a small port, mainly used by UK tourists plenty of restaurants, but as everywhere in Turkish coast very similar menus. English breakfasts available in many of the restaurants. Beaches are small, sunbeds/parasols mostly free if you buy refreshments onsite. Pebble beaches. Recommend the "Can" restaurant for food quality & friendly service. Note the road in/out is with small hairpin bends to Marmaris, approx 30 minutes drive to Marmaris. Water taxi's daily every 2 hours to Marmaris approx. 1 hour travel time.Therefore you need transport to travel around Boat tours to turtle beach and Kings Tombs recommended. Ancient village Amos is 2kms walk with Ampitheatre. Beautiful views. Very picturesque village, only bars, no nightclubs in Turnuc. More older public here.

Turunc is a great little place. Perfect size. Plenty of restaurants and bars. Some really nice places to eat. Good range of well stocked supermarkets. Boat taxi to Marmaris. Day trips on boats where you can swim. Not too brash, lively enough for us. Friendly people, many spoke English. Great views of the mountains. Nice beach.

A very chill little fishing village that has been turned into an equally chill little resort town. None of those annoyingly huge resort chains there, mostly boutique and B&B's dotting the beaches which make it perfect.

Turunc is a little oasis of tranquility on the busy Marmaris coast. The crystal clear turquoise waters and the dramatic mountain backdrop make the place very unique. There is a handful of restaurants, shops and bars, a kids playground and public and private beaches in town, all accessible by walking. Turunc can be accessed by a steep and rather dangerous mountain road by car or bus from Marmaris; alternatively, there are boats that charge 3 Eur per person and the journey takes around 50 minutes.

The clean beach and sea. Superb selection of restaurants. No hassle in shops. Everyone friendly. No need to drive. Incredible countryside and wildlife beyond. Boat trips along the coast are one of my big favourites staffed by locals, knowledgeable and courteous.

The hotel was clean and the view was spectacular from the restaurant and the pool. However, facilities were old and not up to 4 star hotel standards. Not having wifi in rooms is not acceptable. Besides, the shower head was broken. The water was coming out thin and sometimes became too hot in the middle of shower. I also felt not providing soft drinks or even water during dinner was stingy for a 4 star hotel. Come on! Just at least make the filtered water available for dinner just like you did it for breakfast. However, the meals were generally nice and the variety was good. If you decide to go there by car, please be careful while driving cuz the curves are super sharp and Turkish drivers love speeding. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel if you have minimum 4 star level expectations.SoyhanJapan

The Turkish breakfast was fantastic. Ilker provided a complimentary large water and fruit juice in the large fridge in our room. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The best part was being able to lie out on the comfy sunbeds, right on the sea shore. There is also a nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ilker. We can highly recommend his hotel. Ali was a brilliant host – he made us feel very welcome, whatsapping us to ensure all was good and well and asking what we wanted for breakfast (Menemen, it goes without saying…). The breakfast was of course a Turkish feast, served in a cosy area by the pool with stunning views. The hotel has an agreement with a restaurant by the beach and as such you can use the sunbeds and parasols for free which is a must.
