Lakeside Garden has something for everyone. Just 15 minutes from Bodrum-Milas airport, 30km from Bodrum Town and close to the traditional fishing village of Bogazici village, Lakeside Garden is set on the crest of land overlooking Tuzla Lake. The nearest beach is 800 m away and within a 1.5 km radius is a choice of beaches and places to eat, several supermarkets, a spa and shops as well as a shopping mall on the highroad. A free shuttle service runs twice daily to the nearest beach and once a day to the supermarket from June to September. Flexible accommodation options make Lakeside Garden ideal for any size of group, families or couples with a choice of airy 2 and 4 bedroom villas with private swimming pools and comfortable 2 bedroom apartments, all benefiting from full access to the extensive facilities of Lakeside Garden which include; main swimming pool and children’s pool ● upper & lower communal swimming pools ● mini golf ● children’s shaded play area ● gym ● sauna ● indoor swimming pool (unheated) ● table tennis ● ground chess ● Free WiFi access at the main pool only. The popular fish restaurants of Bogazici village with tables and chairs set over the water on wooden jetties serve a variety of traditional Turkish dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The area has a wealth of natural beauty and history. Beyond the lake you see from your balcony are treasures such as the Incirliin Caves of Sleepy Valley, Bafa Lake, Becin Castle, Iassos, Euromos and St. Peter’s Castle in Bodrum. Nearby Milas town is also well worth a visit for the architecture, museum, distinguished mosques and the local street market on Tuesdays. For more lively evening entertainment, the legendary nightlife of Bodrum is a short drive away and regular local bus services run day and late into the night. If you are visiting between October and April, don’t forget to bring a pair of binoculars to observe wildlife on these wetlands that provide an important resting and feeding area for over 400 species of migrating wading birds including the Dalmatian Pelican, the Greater Flamingo.
