The hotel was sparkling clean, and the breakfast was exceptional with regard to both quality and variety. The view of the sea and ships at breakfast was an added delight, along with the visit of many seagulls to the window ledges. (Note: seagulls should not be fed bread - it's bad for their health - but they do love cheese and are very skillful at catching whatever you throw them.) Everyone who is employed at this hotel treated us very kindly, starting with Mr. Orhan, the manager at the front desk. (On an evaluation scale of 1 to 10 stars, 10 being the best, we would give Mr. Orhan a score of 11!) Also, if we spent any length of time in the lobby, we were offered tea or coffee without charge.
