Diyarbakır surprised me pleasantly, interesting culture and traditions, old mosques/churches and UNESCO world heritage sites. But be careful climbing up to city walls, no safety barriers! Discovered very new and good restaurant Evar, highly recommended, close to Armenian church.

Diyarbakir does not appear to be a typical foreign tourist .
Diyarbakir does not appear to be a typical foreign tourist . However it has many hidden gems. It’s well worth visiting the old city within ramparts and ancient gates. There are beautifully restored Hans, mosques, and interesting alleyways to explore. The “ new city” of Diyarbakir is very modern, with shopping malls, nice parks, cafes and restaurants. The Kurdish cuisine is absolutely delicious! Do not miss the opportunity to climb up to the ancient ramparts of the city and survey the scene. An unforgettable view of the Tigris awaits you!

A nice city , with friendly people and a vibrant atmosphete. The Turkish government are rebuilding the old city, which will look great! .
Diyarbakir is now as safe as houses and has great food and some amazing monuments and sights.
The hotel is very well located, within the walls of the old town, just a couple of minutes' amble from the citadel. The other main sites may also easily be reached on foot. The staff speak a little English and are very welcoming, making every effort to help. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the breakfast enjoyable. There was even a pleasant bar in the "indoor courtyard" that served ice-cold beers.
Amazing hotel! Amazing! Rooms are comfortable, beautifully designed. Bathrom was fantastic, modern, clean and spacious. The view was very nice. We loved the quality of breakfast. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The only problem is that the rooms are so nice, you feel like you want to stay and relax for a long time, but there are so many beautiful places to see in Diyarbakir.
Excellent hotel in the heart of Diyarbakir. With good staff, I have to mention that my luggage was left on the near street of the hotel but the staff of the hotel managed to send it to me at the airport. I appreciate the kindness of the hotel staff. I recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to visit there
Hotel with good price in very center of the city. Clean room, elevator available. Fridge is working, ventilator and cooling system also. Nice and friendly personnel. Own secured parking lot nearby. Simple breakfast. A lot of restaurants and small shops around.
The service was exceptional and the staff really friendly, they want to make sure you had an excellent time
The spa is out of this world ,
Diyarbakir exceeded expectations, wonderful friendly people
Great location in the old city.
The cheapest hotel in Diyarbakir when I searched. It did what I wanted I had a hot shower and a comfy bed. Breakfast was typical Turkish good but nothing special.
The location is close to the ola city, walking about 7 minutes. Very convenient. The breakfast is excellent with many choices and delicious. The room us spacious; bigger than many other hotels.
Good budget location in the centre of the city. Walking distance to the main sights. Excellent price-quality ratio. You can't park your car at the hotel but there are public car parks nearby.
Very thoughtful staff. When I had finished my 2 cups of coffee the next day the staff brought an extra 5 cups. It is little gestures like this which makes the hotel so welcoming.
Breakfast was very good, and served in an open pleasant location within the building! The hotel is central, close to shopping, restaurants and the ancient city walls.
